Eoin “Bomber” Liston, is a director at McGuire Liston and is based in the Tralee office.

🎓Eoin has been a Qualified Financial Advisor for over 30 years. In 2018, Eoin teamed up with Liam to form McGuire Liston. They had worked together in banking for a number of years prior to this, both as branch managers in their respective towns.

👨🏻‍💻Eoin’s area of expertise is in Pensions & Investments and he has a continuous commitment to keeping up to date with the most recent products, offerings and legislations.

🏐 Outside of the office, Eoins interests include all sports, especially GAA. He played football with his local club and also played for from 1978-1993, making 39 appearances and finishing his career with:

🏅9 Munster titles
🏅 2 National League titles
⭐️ 4 All Stars

Eoin went on to manage , and guided them to their first county title in 45 years in 2002.

⛳️ Eoin also plays a lot of golf and if you can’t get him during business hours he’s probably in or 😄

Eoin is a great mentor to all of the staff in McGuire Liston and takes time to explain everything in detail, as he does with his clients.

Liam is a director at McGuire Liston and is based in the Killarney office.

🎓Liam has been a Qualified Financial Advisor for over 30 years. Liam decided to leave the world of banking in 2011 and get into the broking business, forming Liam McGuire Financial Services before linking up with Eoin Liston in 2018 to form McGuire Liston.

👨🏻‍💻Liam’s area of expertise is in Mortgages and Pensions & Investments. He recently completed the RPA exams which relate to retirement planning (pensions). At age 60 (plus some) this shows Liams continuous commitment to improvement, keeping up to date with the most recent products, offerings and legislations.

🏉Outside of the office, Liam’s interests include all sports, especially Rugby. Growing up he played rugby with before moving to Kerry at the tender age of 17, to take up a post in AIB. In 1983, Killarney Rugby Club was formed and Liam was a founder member. He played his senior rugby here.

When Liam hung up his boots, he continued to drive the development of the club, managing various underage teams. As Chairman of the development committee for the club’s fabulous new facility in Aghadoe, Liam played a significant role in making this happen.

🏐 During the rugby off season, Liam played football with and is currently Vice Chairman of the club.

⛳️ Liam also enjoys a round of golf during his free time, and is a member of .

Liam is a great leader and example to all of the staff in McGuire Liston. Nothing is ever a problem, as he always finds a solution.
