Atlantic Technological University (ATU) has been officially selected as Ireland's second provider of Veterinary Medicine education!
This incredible milestone, announced today by Minister Patrick O'Donovan TD and Minister Charlie McConalogue TD, marks a major step forward in addressing the growing demand for veterinary professionals, particularly in rural areas across Ireland.
ATU’s new Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (BVMS) programme will offer world-class education and bring exciting new opportunities for students right here in the West and Northwest regions. 🎓
This is a game changer for Irish veterinary students, providing them with access to top-tier education closer to home while supporting the future of veterinary care in Ireland.
