Yoga teacher Claudia from Studio Fit has put together a four week programme to support positive mental health and wellbeing...

Week 1 is geared towards Primary school children.
Week 2 is aimed at Secondary school children.
Week 3 is aimed at adults.
Week 4 is aimed at Families.

This is a follow on piece from “The Wellness Road Trip” which was a brainstorm of Our Lady of Lourdes Local Education committee.

If you are aged between 10 and 25 years and would like to take part in a positive mental health activity weekly which would involve Yoga/Meditation, and you are living in the Limerick City area, please get in touch. This is our small contribution towards supporting positive mental health.

A new YouTube link will be sent out each Wednesday for four weeks. If there is an interest in an online live yoga, meditation sessions, we can look at providing these at a future day.

🌟🌟 SCHOOL FITNESS IRELAND COMPETITION 🌟

Hi Everyone, School fitness Ireland are doing a fantastic competition for schools. Please see detail’s below on how to register your school⚽️⚽️

Starting from the Week of May 25th until the week of June 26th school fitness ireland are running a 5 week long competition to find the Fittest School in Ireland. Every week they will be uploading 2 home fitness classes to their YouTube and social media channels. They will go live at 12pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. Schools should participate in all 5 weeks to increase their chances of winning €1,000 worth of School Sports Equipment for your school.

To be in with a chance to win all you have to do is inform and encourage the students from your school to partake in the challenge of the week. To register your schools interest and to receive your weekly programme updates visit https://www.schoolfitnessireland.com/irelands-fittest-school.html

As an extra incentive for your school parents will be able to tag School Fitness Ireland and your school on social media with a video of their family doing the challenge. The winning family will receive a family pass to Tayto Park.
