The Parade of Light, part of ‘Samhain’, Limerick’s Hallowe'en Festival , by Lumen Street Theatre, passes over Thomond Bridge and King John's Castle, and the Medieval Quarter as the Bishops Lady returned to haunt the streets with a procession of illuminated supernatural beings.

Limerick Museum are delighted to announce that our latest exhibition 'Postcards from Limerick' will launch tomorrow night, Thursday the 17th August at 6pm in Saint Mary's Cathedral Limerick.

The exhibition celebrates the 1100th anniversary of Limerick city via the medium of Limerick Museum's postcard collection which is probably the largest collection of Limerick related postcards in existence.

The exhibition has been funded by the The Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sports and Media as part of the Regional Museum Exhibition Scheme 2023.
