Back in 2020, at the height of Covid, my friends and employers at the Santa Experience were confronted with the prospect of a closed Christmas. By way of creating an alternative, Greg Clarke wrote a children's story which encompassed the various features of what we had created in the Experience and asked me to illustrate his tale. I spent the Spring and Summer of 2020 creating these images, and Deborah Hilbert added her amazing colours to my drawings. I'm really pleased with how the whole thing came together, and these are a few of the pictures in the final product, Finding Nutmeg.

Really delighted with this piece of art created by our amazing friends, Eithne Ring and Liam Lavery. We contacted them a while ago to commission something to mark Emma and Kennedy's engagement, and Eithne came back to us with the preliminary sketch that eventually became this gorgeous bas relief image.
It features Emma and Kennedy's shared and individual interests as well as a very true to life picture of Willow the wonder dog.
The words "Ár saol, Ár dturas" translates as "Our life, Our Journey", a variation on the Irish translation of Emma's song "All You Want". And the musical notation is the opening of "My Funny Valentine", one of the first songs Em recorded way back and of which her Grandad (my Dad) was inordinately proud.
