Its beginning to look alot like Christmas! A great Day For the Parish last Saturday with over 300 people visiting . Thanks To Jamie Daly of Project Believe for supplying the Giant Santa and more . Thanks to our wonderful community Volunteers Anthony O'Donnell Donnell ,Geraldine O' Donnell Susan Duhig , Carmel Duggan , Johnny Duhig , Martine Duhig ,for helping to put it all together on the day and organising the event. .Martine did another excellent Job with the kids during the day and very much appreciated. Emma Duggan fantastic job on the face painting as well, all of which helped on the day , Olive Butler for supplying costumes and giant Chair , Mary Hughes and Eoghan O' Byrne organize and supply gifts and helping on the day . To Noelle and Ger amazing Job in the Grotto, Tough Job and done with smiles on yer facees all day Jacinta with the reindeer food... Marian and Aidan Mcguane a massive thank You for the amazing Cake and supplies for Fairy Cake making. And to anyone else that i may have missed, thank you for contributing to an amazing day and event, . You all play a vital role in making St Marys Park and Kings Island a wonderful Community.

You are invited to a Teddy Bears sleepover in Watch House Cross Library! Bring your teddy to the library for a Christmas storytime, sing along to some festive songs and enjoy a hot chocolate. Leave your teddy in the library overnight (best not to bring a favourite!), come back the next day to collect your teddy and look at pictures of what they got up to in the library after dark.

Everyone is welcome to wear their Christmas jumpers 🎄☕🍪

Concern that community jobs and services in Limerick regeneration areas could be put at risk THE SOCIAL Intervention Fund, which provides money for many community-based organisations in Limerick, is to be extended for another year.

Santa's Grotto returns to King's Island Community Centre on 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 from 3-6pm. Tickets are on sale in the Community Centre on Thursday 23rd, Tuesday 28th & Wednesday 29th of November from 1-2pm. Tickets are €5 per family (2 adults & 2 children) and €1 for every extra person. There are 4 slots (3-3.45pm, 4-4.45pm, 5-5.45pm & 6-6.45pm) available. Please SHARE to promote the event
