Hello folks, first of all we would like to thank you all for your endless support & kind words over the last few days- it has kept us motivated 🫶
We have secured a temporary premises to continue working and for that we thank Pauric and Pat Ward & all at Ward’s Pharmacy (Ballymahon St.). We are forever grateful for their generosity & unfaltering kindness in our time of need.
Stephen will be away for a few days (for a well deserved break) but Marie & Amy will be contacting patients to reschedule appointments, continue dispensing & getting everyone sorted!
While we’re still working to get our new space sorted, we’re available via email, Instagram DM and phone.
Until then, we’ll see you all very soon 🤞🤍

As you may have seen on the news, Grafton Court was severely damaged in a recent fire. This includes our beloved store. We will be cancelling all upcoming appointments as a result.
We are utterly devastated and at a total loss, however we do plan on finding a temporary home and building our business back up again. We don’t have a timeline for this but are working tirelessly to navigate this next chapter for Stephen Olwell Opticians.
We would appreciate your understanding and patience at this difficult time.
Our phone lines are currently down, however our email is open for any questions and queries you may have ([email protected]).
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the support and love our customers have showed us in recent days, it means more than we can say.

Unfortunately a major fire affected the Grafton Court area of Longford in the early hours of this morning. Thanks to the Fire Service and the Gardai the residents were evacuated safely and thankfully there were no injuries reported. We will keep you posted as soon as we know more.

All recently dropped collections- we have brand new Kaleos, Mykita and Sunday Somewhere, and our new Gotti collection that we’ve only had for a few weeks but it is absolutely flying off the shelves! ❤️

She also reglazed her previous LA Eyeworks frame, Jupiter 🪐 Such a stunning frame of the highest quality, it can be used time and time again 🤌

Thank you for having us! We had a fabulous weekend meeting with some of our favourite brands, browsing some exciting new prospects, trying on a million beautiful frames and just enjoying the Milanese culture🤍 Can’t wait for Mido 2025 😉

We will be closed next Friday and Saturday, the 2nd & 3rd of February as we jet off to in Milan. We will reopen the following Wednesday, the 7th, as we have taken an extra long weekend for both our trip and the bank holiday! 😉
