🎨New exhibition on our Art Space by 👉Hannah Gauss👈 "Voices of the Lands"
"Welcome to the magical Cooley Mountains

This mini-exhibition invites you on a magical journey into the Cooley Mountains. Come and meet the energies of these ancient lands, and listen to their stories. This body of work was created with the lands. Every painting holds natural pigments collected from the places they were painted in. They are mixed with acrylics to reflect the colours and textures of the Cooleys. This so-called energy art is done in Shamanic ceremonies in the mountains, during which land spirits gift their essence and energies to the paintings. They become portals into the mountains, holding unique healing frequencies or wisdom for you. Every painting whispers its own story. You can find a small excerpt next to each painting. To view the full stories, visit www.hannahgauss.com. This is where our journey begins: Simply read the story excerpt and intention next to a painting. Get comfortable and feel into it, listen. Can you see a Spirit, smell the Gorse on the mountains, or feel the ocean waves? This is your moment to reconnect with their natural beauty and to receive their healing energies. May you have as much joy exploring them, as I had to make them.

Hannah"

🎨🎻There is new artwork on 3rd Place's wall by 👉Seamus Mc Greevy 👈
Seamus is a Louth based Musician/Artist with a keen interest in Traditional Irish Music.
He studied Art In his native Belfast at Rupert Stanley College and has been exhibiting his work since the 1990s when he moved to Skerries Fingal and as an artist he fell in love with the reflections of the sea the boats and the sunsets, water colour being the main medium for expressing his art in his impressionist style.
Over the next decade Seamus travelled From Ireland around many parts of Europe including France and Spain where the vibrant primary colours and passion from art work from these cultures made a great impact on his creativity not only with Art but with the music of Tárrega, Albéniz, Barrios Mangore and the passion of Flamenco. Art styles of Manet, Cezanne, Gauguin, Klimt, and Picasso just some of the influences that were contributing towards the vibrant colours with an added insight into the world through the musician’s perspective has created his instantly recognisable style.
Being an Irish person and having had the opportunity to see and work with other cultures Seamus hopes to portray Irish Musicians and the vibrant music through his paintings from the perspective of a musician who regularly plays fiddle at local sessions. He wants to depict the fun, the liveliness, hard work and determination of the practicing musician and of course the craic we have playing a few tunes!
