Back to School Sleep Routine
Wasnt the break from routine nice over the summer months?
Now, it's the time of year to get back into routines again
One of the most important routines is sleep
Key to getting this underway at home is communicating it with your child
Speak with your child and let them know the importance of sleep and being rested for school
Let them know bed time is moving gradually back to 8pm, for example and for this week bed times will get reduced by 10mins each night
Helpful sheets from Parents Plus are attached here
Our support workers are available on 02242439 if you need any more info on this or other routines in your house

Let's face it - the summer can be hard
Lack of routine can lead to many challenges arising for young people, and their parents/ care givers
Drug and alcohol use in our community is high so here is a few suggestions to try if you find yourself on this road right now
* try to keep the lines of communication open in these turbulent times by letting your young people know they can talk to you
* answer any questions they may have
* set some rules and stick to them
Please remember Le Cheile FRC is always here to support you as you navigate the hard road that is parenting
Our family support workers are available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Just call 022 42439 and ask for Sharon or Noreen
Wishing the Cork Senior Hurling Team all the very best of luck today in Croke Park
What ye have done for county spirit in the last few weeks alone is remarkable
We are all behind you
