Today, some of our residents enjoyed a wonderful outing in Mallow town! We attended Mass at St. Mary’s Church and stopped for a cappuccino at the HB Hotel. Despite the rain, we had a great time exploring the beautiful sights of Mallow! ☕🌧️🏞️

We’ve kicked off a fun week filled with activities for our residents! Today, we started with a charming tea party in our Clyda Unit and creative arts and crafts sessions in all the other units, where everyone made their own lovely hats 🎩. Stay tuned for tea parties, live music, games, and a special screening of *Alice in Wonderland* with students from Scoil Iosagain. It’s going to be a fantastic week of fun and creativity! 🫖🎶🎨

What a lovely surprise we received today from St. Mary's Secondary School TY – flowers and chocolate! Thank you, girls, for your regular visits, which brought so much happiness and joy to all the residents. Have a lovely holiday and best of luck in your next academic year. We look forward to meeting a new generation next academic year. Intergenerational programs are truly beautiful.

National Art in Nursing Home during Bealtaine Festival!

We celebrated the day with art! Our residents enjoyed painting, and we created a small exhibition to showcase some of their wonderful work. #

✨ Storytelling and Maypole dancing circle led by the enchanting facilitator, Flora, the Goddess of Spring! 🌸 Staff and residents immersed themselves in the afternoon, embracing tradition and celebrating the Bealtine Festival with joy and enthusiasm! 🌿 Huge gratitude to our special, beautiful lady who made this magical experience possible. 💫 🌼

Yesterday, we celebrated International Nurses Day at Bridhaven nursing home, honouring the incredible nurses who have dedicated their time and energy to caring for others. Your hard work and dedication were deeply appreciated by everyone. Thank you for all that you did and continue to do! 💙

🐾 An extra special at the nursing home as a resident's family member brought their dog for a visit! The joy on everyone's faces, including the residents and staff, was heartwarming. It's moments like these that remind us of the power of furry companionship and the warmth they bring to our lives. 🐶💕
