Bridal trials 🤩 it’s a time to try what you think you want , collaborate with your artist who’s the expert but also settle into what you feel truly makes you feel at your best. Changes to makeup on the day are no problem , you just got to put that trust in your artist and not over think it, we get it, there’s huge pressure to be felt, but we’re used to this, so don’t worry Itl all come to get get on the day ❤️ I always encourage my brides to give me feedback after their trial, this allows me to get inside their head a bit more and then perfect their wedding look 🔥 never be afraid you are going to offend us, we just want to make sure your 💯 happy and confident on your special day ❤️

Some brides have an idea of what they like, some very strong ideas or some totally trust you and give you the chance to create what you think will work for them (Iv 19 years experience doing this now 🙌🏼🙌🏼 so getting the creative juices flowing is such a pleasure)

Tips for your bridal trial 💖

Have a facial a week or two before , helps remove any texture build up and gets the skin hydrated

Wear tan on your body

A white top always helps you to envision your overall look a little more

Having pictures of your dress, any visions of how you would ideally like to look as a whole bride (styling wise)

Bring pictures of YOUR artists work, we can’t recreate other peoples work , we all have our own unique style also any images with ladies the same colouring and overall styling as yours

I love to see my pictures of my brides with makeup on from an occasion that attended before so I can see how you like to look for a special occasion

Book a date night for afterwards!!

Don’t go home and scrutinise every single line or pore on your face! No one will be that close to you! Plus remember we are our own WORST critics

Don’t go taking a million pictures under spot lights etc it will cast shadows and is unrealistic to how you actually look

A trial is just a trial, you’ve chosen your makeup artist because you love her style, so trust in it… you can make little changes on the day

Remember at the time of the trial you are still mid process of having facials, brow appointments etc… it’s more about you and your artist vibing so you can have a calm and memorable wedding morning

I always recommend my brides find a good skin therapist to work with, my go to place is , they have the most advanced treatments locally. From working on pigmentation, texture, skin boosting , hydration… these ladies are at the top of their game!

SPF everyday too is so important

I love Dermaplanning for getting rid of any peach 🍑 fuzz around the face, it removes all the fine vellus hair so don’t worry it WONT grow back thicker or darker… facial hair is driven by our hormones… but when you see these close up shots of my bride Leah, having zero peach 🍑 fuzz is a must!!
