Videos by WildHer Soul in Oldcastle. Guiding women back to their wildly playful selves and communities. Counsellor. Coach. Circle Holder.
Life has been pretty busy lately and these little guys always remind me about slow living. Going somewhere and taking all day to get there 🐌 and looking pretty flashy I might add 🐚
‼️Big update for my counselling practice‼️ I’m finishing up at Oldcastle Counselling Centre tomorrow after 2 brilliant years here. I’ll be temporarily going online while I find a new location so watch this space as I navigate this change. So if you know of any spaces, rooms, cabins, etc. that are clean, safe, and cozy please get in touch as I’d love to hear from you ☺️
You can follow along on a tour of my updated website www.wildhersoul.com 👏🏼 (sound on 🔊) I’ve updated it in a way to make it feel more user friendly and easier to navigate. I’ve poured a lot of love, time, and blood, sweat and tears into this website over the years, so let me know what you think 🤩✨💃🏼
Slow living professional here, watch how it’s done. As many of you know or may have gathered, I love snails 😆🐌😍 much to the horror of my in-laws 🤣 I love watching their slow movements, how it can take them all day to move only a short distance, how they can come back to life after drying up (learned this in Aus!), and most importantly, they carry their home and safety with them. This is such a beautiful thought I often dance with. What if we fully learned and understood that we are our own safe space. We are our own homes. 🏠 We give our power away to so many things outside of ourselves when really we have the power, the capability, and the strength to be our own safe space. So maybe this weekend you too can take a little message from our lovely little friends. Whether it be to slow down, take your time in whatever you’re doing or wherever you’re going, Or if you need a gentle reminder that you are your home and safe space. Maybe a little of both. 🤲🏼 Either way, go gently and know you are enough in the journey. From all my wild spaces, Morgan 🍂🐌 PS this snail was half the size of my fingernail!!
(Sound on) “Where did you find the strength?” This is a great question. And sometimes this is where I find the strength, through a day spent relaxing, napping, and resting. Sometimes it takes strength to allow ourselves to rest. Some days post circle I’m filled with a sense of need to adventure and explore, while others I’m filled with a deep need for rest. Sometimes I fight it and try to keep going, however surrender has been my word for the past month so I’m learning to surrender in many ways. Happy new moon and eclipse. 🌚 I hope you’re able to listen to your body today and do what feels good for you. 🙏🏼🔥
It’s official. I’m changing my title to “woman who plays” 🤩💃🏼🥳 Let this be your invitation to find play, laughter, a lightness, and joy along your healing journey. It doesn’t have to be so serious. Let the laughter and goofiness roll. 🤣🤪
Isn’t she lovely? Isn’t she wonderful? “She” represents the sacred, safe, and nourishing space that is circle. “She” represents each woman who walks bravely, nervously, and courageously through my door to delve into the depths of each other, to witness, to share, to listen. Another circle filled with laughter, tears, tea, chatter, nourishment for the body and soul, and most of all, hugs. I’m forever grateful to the women who choose to show up for themselves and to be a part of this community. “She”, YOU, are lovely and wonderful. Circle is like a mirror, let it reflect all the wonderful things about you back to you, and let you be brave enough to see them, and even braver to feel and embrace them. Hello again! Why haven’t I been showing up on social media much lately?? And what I think about “consistency” 🤣 @circleschoolwithmitle will agree with me! Also, I’m feeling more energised lately (about time!!) and loving this fun coloured filter! 🤩🤩
Therapist Retreat Weekend 🤲🏼 I’ve been away from socials a lot lately as I’ve felt a major pull to spend time with myself. I’m slowly finding my way back to this space and sharing a small video of the beautiful gardens from a beautiful retreat weekend is a lovely gentle intro back. This retreat was just what my soul needed, deep nourishment! There was raw sharing, crying, laughter (so much!), gourmet hugs (these were delicious!), mindful forest meditation, viewing our masks, deep conversations, a perfect amount of different deep dive activities, and generally feeling into a deeper sense of belonging. This space nourished my mind, body, and soul and also my inspiration for the retreats I’ve been dreaming up. The group and facilitators were fantastic, to be honest I’m actually feeling a bit sad today as I enjoyed the group so much. To be held in the space of other whole hearted humans is such a wonderful thing. We need it much more often in life and I think it showed me how much more I need this. With that said, I am beguine grateful to the facilitators and beautiful souls that joined. 🙏🏼🤲🏼✨
I did a hard thing!! And guess what? I survived! 🤩🥳💃🏼 And yes that is tons of midges stuck to my face 😂 had a few go up my nose too!
Why would you need a counsellor or coach? Here I chat about why having a counsellor or coach is beneficial and what having one can do for you and your life. Truly we should all be assigned a team of support people at birth. We are not meant to go through life’s ups and downs alone. We need people in our corner supporting us through life, helping us to make sense of our experiences so we don’t allow them to unhealthily rule our lives without our knowing. By having this type of space, we are giving ourselves permission to do the hard work, that we are worth it, that we deserve to feel good and live a stable and secure life. Answer this, “what would my life be like if I let go of all the burdens that I’m carrying, if I allowed space for my true self to come forward?” What do you truly want from your life? This is a big question and one many of us are never sure of so we feel lost and confused. Maybe it is time to chat to someone and start untangling the confusion and chaos. Maybe it is time to start feeling hopeful about your life. Dear woman, you are worth it. 🤲🏼
Happy Wild Women Wednesday!!! 💃🏼🥳🌞🤩 I’ve been thinking for a while how to give back to women in my community who like me are putting their all into their creative ventures and starting Wild Women Wednesdays is a great place to start! It gives me a space to promote and celebrate the women in my community who are doing big things, self-employed, etc. I know first hand how hard going at it alone in business can be so I want to help spread the word of the brilliant things these women are doing!! Keep a look out on Wednesdays!! 🥳🥳🥳 #wildwomenwednesday #wildwomen #womensupportingwomen #womenempowerment #womeninbusiness
WildHer Soul Community Walk 🌿 When: Saturday June 3rd 8:30am Where: Mullaghmeen Forest Exchange: bring your fun energy! If you’re feeling called to join, reach out and let me know! Even if you’re nervous, that’s what I’m here for is to help create warm spaces for women to join in 🤲🏼🌸🥳🌿
Dear go-go woman, it is time to celebrate how far you’ve come, all the hard work you’ve been putting in, and all the mountains (metaphorically or real!) you’ve climbed! After getting what we set out to achieve, we too quickly pivot our attentions to the next thing and the next thing. We have proved to ourselves that we can do hard things, but that doesn’t mean not celebrating and appreciating how far you’ve come. This is something I’m trying to do more often too, celebrate and appreciate all the difficult things I’m doing and continue to do. You are pretty incredible, now celebrate YOU!
Why do I offer so many things and am I qualified to do so?? When I first asked women what stops them from reaching out for support in different ways, one answer I got back was people not knowing if someone is qualified to do what they do, whether that is being a counsellor, coach, circle facilitator, or nature-based facilitator, or anything else that other people are offering.
🌿 TULSI Nature-Based Workshop 🌿 Date: Sunday May 21st Location: Mullaghmeen Forest, Westmeath Time: 10:00-13:00 Exchange: €45 (This river footage is from a lovely walk in the Slieve Blooms!) This beautiful workshop is happening within a few days of the Taurus New Moon which means that there will be extra earthy magic surrounding us while we connect with momma Earth and the wild parts of ourselves. What this workshop will entail: We will meet in the main Mullaghmeen Car Park and slowly make our way through the forest to our workshop area. While we walk there, we will be soaking in the full immersion of nature’s surrounding as it prepares us to start the workshop. We will then gather in circle and I will facilitate the opening of the workshop with a blessing and guided meditation. Next we will open the workshop to different points of sharing, activities, wanderings through the forest, collecting nature pieces, doing internal work, and so much more! When we are finished, I will gently close the space and we will wander our way back to our cars and homes with a little (or a lot) more wild in our hearts and souls. I am wildly passionate about nature and our deep connection to it (as we are nature!) as well as finding play in our every day lives. I find when we are feeling disconnected from ourselves, we are usually disconnected from nature and visa versa. Like an infinity sign, each influences the other. I want to bring women like you back to nature and the wild parts of YOU. So if you are feeling called to join other wild women in a playful and fun way, I invite you to come along. If you’re feeling called to the wilder parts of you then I invite you to message me to save your spot! 🌿🌻🌞 In wild spaces, Morgan ✨ Book where —> https://bit.ly/TULSI-nature-based
