Funeral arrangements for Paddy

The death has occurred of Paddy Archer of Sandy Lane, Rush, Co. Dublin.

Archer (Rush, Co. Dublin) - Aug 17, 2024, (suddenly), Paddy, loving son of the late Sarah and Pat and brother of the late Kathleen, Bernie and Nicky. He will be sadly missed by his loving brother Jimmy, nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces, great grand nephews, great grand niece, extended family and a wide circle of friends and the members of the many local clubs of which Paddy was a member, especially Rush Sailing Club, St. Maur’s GAA and Rush Badminton Club.

Reposing at his home on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral mass on Friday morning at 10am in St. Maur's Church, Rush followed by burial in Whitestown Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to The RNLI or The Irish Cancer Society.

With heavy hearts we share the very sad news that our long-time friend and member, Paddy Archer, has passed away, suddenly and unexpectedly. Known to all for sailing his Mermaid, playing snooker with the lads and socializing with everyone, Paddy epitomised what it is to be a member of a club.
It is a very sad day for RSC and everyone who knew him.

A fantastic start for 2Farr at the Half Ton Cup / European Championships in Belgium. First race abandoned but the RSC team topped the fleet by winning the only other race today. Great start guys! Keep her lit !

What a week for 2Farr and the Kelly Boardman O’Leary team. Winners of IRC2 and the Corinthian Cup at Volvo Cork Week. What a display of sailing prowess taking 2/2 wins on the last day to win by a solitary point. Flying the RSC and Baltimore SC flags with pride.
