We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of a comprehensive transition return check with our partner Customer SAS. ✈️

The project involved the performance of an extensive redelivery check package with a full cabin interior reconfiguration for the current owner with onward delivery to the next Customer, all performed in house by our team across the range of required skillsets.

Atlantic Aviation Group were thrilled to welcome the SAM Summer Aviation Academy 2024 for an on-site tour of our hangar yesterday. ✈️

The students were greeted in the morning with some treats and an introductory presentation from our training department before exploring our facilities, guided by members of the AAG team.

We hope they enjoyed the experience of seeing a live aircraft maintenance environment and that some may be inspired to return to us in the future as potential Aircraft Maintenance Engineers!

AAG were delighted to see Cian Molloy, a member of the 1st year apprenticeship class, win the Apprentice of the Year award, presented by LCETB.👏

Cian and his classmates have recently completed Phase 2A of their apprenticeship programme, which included nine months of training at LCETB Shannon. They are now back on site in AAG for Phase H2.

Congratulations to Cian on this outstanding achievement!

People behind the maintenance - Episode 10: Alan Naughton, Head of 145 Engineering. ✈️

Alan has been with us since 2009 and has worked his way up from Engineering Officer to his current position as Head of 145 Engineering.

Alan discusses the diverse range of responsibilities that he and his team handle including liaising with planning to review the customer work scope, reviewing service bulletins and airworthiness directives, issuing engineering drawings to the aircraft, and communicating with OEM’s, Part 21 Organisations and CAMO Organisations.

Alan’s video concludes our “People behind the Maintenance” series. Thanks to all our dedicated employees for their participation in the series and their ongoing contributions to AAG!

ESG workshop ✈️

This week, our Sustainability and Climate action team took part in a strategy workshop at our offices in Shannon. This intensive session was centred on further developing and refining our Sustainability strategy, focusing on 3 key areas, People, Planet and Prosperity.

With a lot of good work already being done in AAG to address these priorities, this workshop was a good opportunity to re-focus, prioritise and action our ambitious plans. Thank you to the whole team for their hard work and innovative ideas.

With over 55 years of experience, Atlantic Aviation Group (AAG) is one of Europe's leading independent aviation solution providers. AAG provides a range of aviation solutions including; Part 145 Aircraft Maintenance, CAMO & Technical Services, Part 21 Design Services and Part 147 Training in our state of the art training school, Atlantic Aviation Institute.

Our hangar facility, based in Shannon Airport, has a long and established history of providing airlines and leasing companies with superior quality in the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of Boeing 737, 757 and 767 aircraft. We specialise in the provision of heavy C & D maintenance checks, bridging checks and major modifications. Our MRO is supported by extensive in-house shop capabilities, materials and logistics services.

Our CAMO & Technical Services team provide a full technical support service for airlines, operators, leasing companies, MROs and manufacturers. AAG’s Part 21 Design Services can offer approval of minor changes to cabin interiors and avionics systems on Airbus, Boeing, and other large aircraft.
