Car Driving Lessons

Sligo HGV Training provides a versatile range of car lessons to customers in Sligo and surrounding areas. We offer car lessons for drivers of all skill levels – both beginners and experienced drivers.

Rigid Truck Lessons

Our MAN TGM 18.250 rigid truck is fitted with an automatic 12 speed gearbox. Since November 1st, 2020, drivers can now pass their driving tests in an automatic vehicle and, as long as they hold a manual licence in another vehicle category (except motorbikes, cat A), they will be granted a manual licence on passing their test.

I’m getting a lot of messages from people asking have you any free lessons I have my test tomorrow or my test this Friday . I’m assuming they have booked a cancelation test . If you book a test at short notice or wait until the last minute to look for lessons you’re more likely to fail. If you’re not ready don’t book a test . All you are doing is destroying your confidence and making it more expensive on yourself . You’re also taking the chance away from someone who is ready and could have done their test and probably passed. No good driving school will have lesson space available at short notice and we don’t like taking on rush jobs . It won’t be you failed because you didn’t prepare it will just be I did lessons with that school and failed .
