DC Heat Pump Services specialise in air to water heating systems. We are approved service agents. Why Choose DC HeatPump Services?

We have the relevant training and experience working on air to water heating systems and air conditioning. We offer a maintenance and breakdown service. These systems should be serviced annually to comply with manufacturers' warranty and to ensure optimum running efficiency. If you service your air to water system with us you can be assured that all manufactures warranty will be valid. We offer a

breakdown service that will cover all troubleshooting and fault finding of the heat pump indoor and outdoor units. This will cover both the electrical and refrigeration sides of the heat pump. As we are an f-gas registered with refrigeration qualification we can replace any component on the refrigeration side of the system. We can also identify if the problem is within the heat pump or is associated with the plumbing ancillary parts. As an approved service agent, we can offer a commissioning service for new or existing installations. This would involve inputting the most efficient parameters for your system. We get a lot of calls for high running costs, we find this can be due to the system not having the most efficient parameters installed. Commissioning would also involve a full system check mechanically and electrically to ensure the system is installed as part of the manufacturer's guidelines. A full commissioning report would be handed over to the homeowner on completion. As an F-Gas registered business, we also offer installation of refrigeration pipework on new installations. This would be required on split units where refrigeration pipes are required to run between the indoor and outdoor units. This would involve the running of the gas pipes during the first fix. In the second fix, the pipes would be flared and connected to the heat pump indoor and outdoor unit. The pipework would then be pressure tested and leak tested. The pipes would then be placed under a vacuum and additional gas would be added if required. DC HeatPump services also offer all of the above services for air conditioning systems. We can also install and size air conditioning systems for domestic and commercial clients. We offer our services to these areas in Ireland:

So earlier this week I was selected as a finalist in the Self Employed Category of the SICAP Social Enterprise & Self Employment Awards. Even though we weren't selected as winners it was a privilege to take part to be selected as a finalist. Daire Coyle worked previously as a refrigeration engineer but was let go in his old job in January 2022 and, after spending the next few months going through job interview process, he decided to set up his own business on the Sligo Roscommon border Today he runs his own heat pump enterprise and has secured a contract with one heating design company based in the west of Ireland. He also spends one day a week working for a major plumbing contractor in the Dublin Kildare area .
