The seafront over the last 100 years! On Friday will seek the views of locals & visitors on some proposed changes to Shore Road and the Seafront . While we welcome the idea of enhancements for this beautiful village we don’t think the removal of parking on the seafront should form part of the proposals. As you can see from the old photographs parking on the seafront was and is an enjoyable pass time for all over the past 100 years, in every season. We think that we should leave this simple pleasure for the next generations. We are but custodians, passing through. Let’s see if we can make Strandhill a better place while keeping the fundementals the same.
