I know what you’re thinking 🤪 that’s not my haiiiirrrdressserrr 🤔 you’re dead right I only look like this on a Saturday night once a month 😋

Your hair cycle often matches with different seasons of the year! And much like dogs it’s super common to shed hair in the autumn months! 🍂 🐶

I’ve talked to you all about the different stages of growth before, especially when it comes to pregnancy! So during Summer our hair is often in the “Telogen Phase” where new strands begin to grow, and when September hits we move into a new phase called “Exogen” for my hair nerds 🤓

During August, September & October its so common to shed more hair. So if you’re stressing out in the shower wondering why there’s more hair than usual, I’m just letting you know that it’s totally normal & most importantly it’s temporary!

Things you can do to help;
🫶🏻Use a Stimulating Shampoo to improve blood flow to your follicles.
🫶🏻 Massage your scalp daily to promote blood flow 🩸
🫶🏻 Brush your hair before you shower

The usuals- Eat well, drink plenty of water, remember we always start to lack in Vitamin D around this time of year too! Get your supplements in if you need them, and get out for a walk - exercise will help stress levels which of course is so important for healthy hair growth 🫶🏻🍂
