Due to ongoing expansion, Cargo Defenders are currently seeking a vehicle device installer.

Cargo Defenders require a Vehicle Device Installer/ General Operative.

Location - killea

The role will include wiring and installing electronic equipment to Cars, Vans and Trucks including GPS equipment, Camera Systems and other devices. Other roles will include assisting in manufacturing PVC covers and other general duties as required.
The role is full time and the candidate must be able to work some Saturdays as required. The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in vehicles and experience working on them some auto electrical experience would be an advantage. The job involves partially dismantling (and reassembling) vehicles dashboards so problem solving skills, and an ability to work issues out would be essential. Installation of vehicles are mainly at customer locations so the applicant must be willing to travel. Overnight stays may be required at times.
Applicants Must

Be reliable and punctual.

Able to work on their own initiative and unsupervised

Eager to learn and upskill on a ongoing basis

Full clean driving licence

Able to travel to customer locations

Be practically minded

Be able to think logically and clearly.

Have self-discipline.

Be safety conscious

High quality of work to be done and have customer satisfaction in mind.

Be knowledgeable on removing vehicle dashboards and be familiar with how to wire devices in a vehicle.

Good record keeping

Ability to manage stock and perform general duties as required
