TOM Sessions
Tramore Open Mic, calling all performers, monthly Open Mic for singers, songwriters, musicians, spok
A few of us playing this Wednesday night 15th
Fabulous Joni Mitchell tribute act tonight
So sad to hear of the passing of Hugo OโDonovan, arguably the most colourful and dynamic of all the TOM Sessions performers and all round fantastic guy. Himself and John Buckley will be at all the Open Mics in heaven. RIP Hugo ๐
The backbone of all our sessions and the reason we all came together in the first place is off to the next life, we donโt even know yet how much weโll miss him. Many many good times, songs and sessions. RIP John.
What a great cover, these girls normally do old school rock classics so this is different for them.
Wishing everyone a fantastic 2022 and hopefully weโll all be back on a stage somewhere sometime in the not too distant future, take care, ๐ถ and โค๏ธ conquers all
Hi all, so with the news this evening that indoor music will be allowed from 6th Sept at 60% capacity whatโs the appetite to resume the TOM Sessions at some point in the next few months ? Let me know what you think ๐ค
Weโll also have to get a new venue and see whatโs the best way to move on.
Huge congratulations to Maggie O'Neill on the arrival of baby Dylan, looking forward to seeing you back on stage in the not too distant future !
Hi all,
I really hope to be back with the TOM Sessions in 2021, where and when no one knows yet but when the dust settles let's see what's still standing.
We were off to a great start over the first 6 months so thanks again to all who bared their soul and took a leap into the unknown or took it all in their stride.
TOM Sessions played host to some big names in that time and has watched their music star continue to rise and shine, most notably Richie Power with his new album Howlin at the moon, Kairen Caine with her single Turning Tide from her forthcoming album, Paul J Bolger with his self titled album and of course Karen Coss with a great new video for her song Free.
I want to wish each and everyone of you a Merry Christmas and all the blessings of the season.
Rock on my friends โค ๐ธ๐

Doing a great song justice
RIP John Prine. So many of his songs performed at TOM Sessions and I know many more will in the future. Huge inspiration to so many near and far.
Not too shabby a version ๐
When the TOM Sessions return, it will be in a new home, unfortunately our good friend Pat has decided to call it a day, thank you Pat for being a most accommodating and generous host. We were lucky to have a great venue.
Hi everyone, having spoken to various people in the last few days I feel it is only right to cancel tonights TOM session in light of current recommendations. It is only right that we support our healthcare professionals who are doing all they can to minimise the spread of this virus. Why should we potentially add to their load ?
The whole idea of the TOM Sessions being a warm, friendly, intimate and supportive group in a small venue does not stack up well to current thinking and advice.
Apologies to anyone who is disappointed or put out by this. In the meantime we will all keep playing, writing and be back when the coast is clear.
Brian aka TOM Sessions

What a fantastic TOM session last night, 10 great acts showcasing the wonderful talent that is in Tramore, Clonmel, Waterford City and as far as Limerick.
We had a great crowd in soaking up 2 1/2 hours of singer songwriter originals, covers, original poetry, story telling, spoken word lyrics and a Bull McCabe scene from the field. Special thanks to all the performers, Brian Enright, Joanna Corcoran, Karen Coss, John Buckley, Gerry Costello, Hugo O Donovan, Ellie Mackey, Breege Phelan and Will McLellan duo The Word of O, Kitty Kaboodle aka Cathy Desmond, John Carew and Paul J Bolger. Thanks also to Pat O'Hanlon for the venue and delicious finger food and all those that came along to listen.
We'll do it all again next month ๐๐ต๐
Please like and share ๐
