Watched hitchcocks ‘shadow of a doubt’ last night with the kids so was only fit to call our little visiting leveret ‘Alfred Hitch-hop’. Such a treat to have these visit us, except we hope the cat stays away from the baby hares and the hares don’t eat our young trees just planted! So dotey 🐇.

Young designers in the making!
Was blown away by the kid’s designs for their printed cushions. Printed with acrylic paint using a simple secret mono printing technique! We ironed on bits of fabric (using bondaweb) and some decided painting their final prints. ♥️👌

With the weather being so bad over the last few days it was a real challenge to hold the 2 day children’s creative workshop outdoors in the marquee...we survived and had great fun and managed to get out during showers to draw the donkeys!

Getting all geared up here for our outdoors kids creative workshops starting next week. First project; Paper lantern. Very effective and so relaxing to watch it flicker away..(not a real candle so no hazard)

Introducing to you Greta Thunberg and her gang. If you keep chickens I’d love to hear your stories about their quirky behaviours or any chicken keeping tips you have as we still learning. Our Greta here has lived up to her name and is the one who will be on the fence protesting or have hopped over to stuff her beak on the lawn, when we haven’t been quick enough with the scraps.... I have just tucked these ladies into their roost. There is such a sense of comfort from seeing them all perched on their roost, feathery bottoms all pointing the same way, the minutes before dusk.
