Delighted to have the 69th regiment New York “Fighting 69th” in the pub over the weekend! They were in Waterford to commemorate the first flying of the Irish Tricolour flag on March 7th 1848 by Thomas Francis Meagher. The “Fighting 69th” brigade was led by Thomas Francias Meagher during the American civil war.
