This glorious sunshine has us in the mood to get out and about! What’s your go to activity on a fabulous sunny day?

Whether it’s a beach day, bringing the dogs for walk( not when it’s too hot though!) a hike up the Mountains, a boat trip up the quay, a picnic in the park or an al fresco coffee date with friends we have you covered!

And if you just want to stroll around town today we open every Sunday 12-4! ☀️

Tom roasts and prepares his coffee right here in Waterford, his beans are ethically sourced and roasted in small batches to ensure the highest standards. His care and attention to detail shines through with each restock we get. As much as we miss seeing Tom in the shop we are always so happy to see him walk in with his deliveries.

Lisa here, and it’s my turn to tell a little bit about me and, specifically, how my art journey began! 😊

It all started as a tot on Cathal Brugha Street. I always loved to draw, paint and make things and it was something I kept coming back to as I grew up. I studied art at WIT (SETU now) and graduated with an honours degree in 2007. Alas adulthood took over and I began working in various jobs and art took a back seat for a while. I had my first two boys, Shane and Jason, just 14 months apart and when Jason came along I decided to stay at home. This move gave me an opportunity to reignite my love of painting and with some encouragement I picked back up my brushes and off I went. At the time I was also diagnosed with postnatal depression and painting really helped me during that time. My boys inspire me so much as they see the world with such amazement and we tend to lose that as we grow up so I like to paint our surroundings in a fun colourful way.
My pub paintings stem from Sundays spent in the pub with my dad. Lots of lovely memories from that time along with the wonderful decor and iconic frontage of a lot of our pubs inspires me to capture these beautiful buildings too. I hope you enjoy my art when you drop in and if you’ve gotten this far thanks for staying with me 😅💜

We’re looking for an energetic, sound and motivated person to join our small team
Your main role will be picking and packing orders for our lovely customers, working in Polly & Andy in Cheekpoint Waterford.
Previous experience with order packing would be ideal. Full drivers license and own transport essential.
The main job responsibilities are
* Key part of our dispatch team fulfilling online and wholesale orders
* Using our online order processing and shipping platforms (experience in Shopify preferred)
* Checking in stock deliveries 
* Be willing to jump into other operational areas as needed
* Stock counts
You will be great for the role if you are:
* In love with Polly & Andy bamboo socks
* Tech savvy and comfortable using a computer and online platforms
* Very attentive to detail and love wrapping gorgeous packages for our customers
* Hardworking, with a fun and friendly attitude
* Physically able to work on your feet for period of times 
* Physically strong, able to lift boxes, mostly small ones, but sometimes up to 20k
*Happy to work on your own a lot and listen to podcasts or whatever.
