Ireland got knocked out by New Zealand in the Quarter Finals of the Rugby World Cup.

With a scoreline of 28-24 our team lost out narrowly to the All Blacks at Stade de France in Saint-Denis in Paris.

Its a bitterly disappointing end to Irish captain Johnny Sexton´s stellar career.

On Saturday Ireland will play their Rugby World Cup quarter-final against New Zealand.

They have played a total of 36 Test matches against each other. The All Blacks (NZ) have won 30 of those matches, Ireland have won 5 and 1 match was drawn. Furthermore Ireland had to struggle with the loss through injury of James Ryan.
But Ireland are on the rise after their last win against Scotland !

Budget Day

Tuesday was Budget Day. Minister for Finance Michael McGrath announced a total spending package of €14 billion. There was some good news for landlords, businesses and households, but also some bad news for people who smoke or v**e.

Big Match for Ireland this Saturday !!

On the 7th of October there is the Rugby World Cup match between Ireland and Scotland, we have a lot at stake – a place in the Quarter Finals.

Scotland must beat Ireland and deny the Irish a bonus point to finish second on the head-to-head rule with South Africa topping the pool.
If Ireland get a bonus point and Scotland do not, Ireland will top the pool on the head-to-head rule from South Africa.

If we beat Scotland, we are through to the Quarter Final.
