The Giving Tree is starting to fill up 🎄

Over the last few weeks, children across Waterford and beyond have been making decorations and hanging them on The Stable Yard Deli Giving Tree in the centre of Georges Court Shopping Centre.

We’d encourage anyone who would like to hang a decoration, to do so between now and Christmas as each decoration will be matched by a donation from The Stable Yard Food Hall to Tintean Housing Association to help families who are in need this Christmas 💛

We are loving the Elves Workshop!

A festive family activity for a great cause 🎁

Visit the Elve’s Workshop in Georges Court Shopping Centre where you will make cookies in Mrs. Claus’ kitchen, do some arts and crafts, and help prepare Santa’s Christmas list in the workshop.

Open until 6pm today, tickets are €5 and 100% of proceeds go to the Irish Red Cross Waterford City Youths ❤️

CELEBRATING OVER 35 YEARS OF THE GIVING TREE

Families, Local Schools and Children are asked to get involved by making Christmas Tree Decorations and to bring them in and hang them on The Stable Yard Giving Tree in the centre of Georges Court Shopping Centre. Each decoration will be matched by a donation from The Stable Yard Food Hall to Tintean Housing Association to help families who are in need this Christmas.

​The Giving Tree is a charitable initiative started by Hasbro in Georges Court in 1986 which has become a wonderful example of local businesses and the community working together to help others at this time of year.

The Stable Yard Giving Tree at Georges Court will be in place all throughout Winterval.
