We were delighted to welcome d’unbelievable Pat Shortt to Mary’s Bar last night. What a gentleman. We hope to see him back again in the future 😊

What a week we had at the Fleadh 2024! We thoroughly enjoyed it and hope everyone else did too. We would like to thank our customers old and new and hope to see you all again very soon. We would also like to thank our amazing staff who worked so hard over the last week you are all superstars 🤩 Mary’s Bar will be closed today (14/08/2024) to give our staff the well earned break that they deserve.

Even though Mr. Donald Trump had an ‘EAR miss at one of his rallies 😉 he still felt the need to come and support Mary’s Bar for Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2024 as he heard it was a Fleadh for all. We definitely have Mr. Trumps vote for the 🎻🪕🎼

A purse was found outside of Wexford Library this evening, it has been handed into the pub.

It can be collected from behind the bar.

Hey everyone we are excited to announce that we will be reopening tomorrow Monday the 21st of September. We’re really looking forward to seeing everyone back again. Everyone’s safety is our main priority so because of this you will see a few changes around the place.
🍻 Please wait to be seated by a staff member.
🍻 Face coverings must be worn at all times except when seated, staff will also be wearing face coverings at all times.
🍻 Hand sanitiser will be provided at the entrance and between the toilets and smoking area, for everyone safety all customers will be required to use this.
🍻 For the safety of our customers and staff social distancing will be strictly adhered to.
🍻 Drinks can only be ordered at the table.
🍻 Walk ins will be available but due to limited space numbers will be restricted so we advise you to book a table to avoid disappointment. You can contact us either through the page or call us on (086) 071 4309.

As of March 15th we closed our doors, due to Covid 19, for the health and safety of our customers and staff. Public health and safety is always our main priority. Mary’s Bar has been in our family since the early 50’s and has been a licensed premises since 1775, hard to believe we are unable to trade as a public house in 2020.

A huge thank you to C&R PRINT for their COVID-19 package in helping local businesses open safely.

Well that’s us done and dusted for another year 😊 what a show. Jimmy, Cian, Matthew, James, Michael ye were brilliant. Well done again to Michael on winning “performance enjoyed most by the adjudicator” but most of all thank you for organising our show we couldn’t have done it without you.

Great to have Tommy Tiernan and Fred Cooke visit marys bar again last night and tonight after their performance in the spiegeltent nice, patient, friendly lads hope to see you again soon

We are open as usual tonight and tomorrow we had a few people asking and we hope that most of our customers will see this status and pop in for a pint and chat

We had a fantastic night last night at this years singing pubs competition. Well done to everyone who performed last night and a big thank you to Mr. Jimmy Murphy our M.C for the night and also Michael D'Arcy, Matthew O' Brien, Brian Kavanagh and James O' Sullivan we couldn't of done it without you.
