The Waterford and Wexford Training Services (wwetb) were with some of their trainees in town over the weekend. In fact, Kevin celebrated his birthday in Green Acres while he was there. Great fun was had by all

Recently, the Mayor of Wexford, George Lawlor and Wexford Borough District honoured Wexford Wanderers Rugby Club with a Civic Reception to mark their Centenary.

Jimmy O'Connor (father of James), who is still a proud member of the club, was delighted to be part of the festivities.

The demand for hampers has started already. Some are for wine gifts during the Festival, others are larger food-based hampers and more even getting orders in for Xmas! The hampers team are well on top of matters though it may not look like it on the floor 😂

Taking a breather from rehearsals, WFO Choreographer and dancer Luisa Baldinetti, on Bob Quinn's sculpture outside Green Acres. Luisa will perform one Suite for Cello during the Bach at Midnight (nearly) series during the Wexford Festival Opera. Details on the WFO website

Renowned cellist Adrian Mantu (principal cellist in the WFO Orchestra) guides you through the wonderfully expressive Bach’s Cello Suites together with choreographer and dancer, Luisa Baldinetti, who will perform one Suite for Cello each night.
