נוסדה בשנות השלושים בסלוניקי על ידי אהרון צרפתי, הסבא המיתולוגי של המשפחה שאומנותו בעץ ובתכשיטים נודעה בסלוניקי שביוון.
עיצובי המשפחה נודעו בקרב הקהילה הסלוניקאית כיצירות אומנותיות במהלך השנים.
כיום מנהל את צרפתי עיצובים אומנותיים, הנכד רון-אהרון (שקרוי על שם הסב).
