It’s been a while, and it’s about time for an update!

For the last couple years I’ve mostly been working in drafting - drawing up plans and 3D models for other designers. I do love it and even more so love working with and learning from other designers. But the itch to work for myself and design my own “real” spaces hasn’t gone away.

I’ve taken a bit of a break recently, as you can see in the pictures, to have a baby (but she is a good little assistant!) and only recently started picking back up with a project that has been in the works for a while. This one is personal, my husband’s home office. Today the carpentry was installed. It was my first big carpentry install and I was a little nervous before hand but I couldn’t be more thrilled with the result.

In the rest of the pictures you’ll get a little peek at other parts of the room. The fantastic sun shades that keep the hot afternoon sun out, one of the beautiful light fixtures chosen by the “client” and in usual install day form, the air conditioner which worked perfectly until today decided to start leaking water the minute the wooden shelving was installed.

Hoping for finish up the last bits of this room so I can post it in full!

I had the best time working on this bathroom renovation! Not only did the clients have great taste (check out those accent walls), but they were so fun and easy to work with. They were thrilled with the end results and a happy client makes me a happy designer

Can’t wait to see the transformation!
