Many surfers are suffering from upper crossed syndrome, characterized by rounded shoulder and forward head posture, as for overload and tightened muscles such as pectoralis major and minor, subscapularis, lats, and upper trapezius which functionally will weakened muscles such as rhomboids, mid traps and deep cervical flexors.
