REFLECTIONS

I'm not referring to those moments when we see the return of light or sound from a surface nor to the image of ourselves that we see reflected on a mirror.

I'm referring to the deeper kind of reflection....
The "Self-Reflection"; when we take the time to think, meditate on, ealuate, and give serious thought to our behaviors, thoughts, attitudes, motivations, and desires...the process of diving deep into our thoughts and emotions and motivations and determining the great, “Why” behind them.

Self-reflection allows us to take a step back and gain perspective on the things that really matter in our life and the ones that can be ignored.

When we go through life without reflecting, we don’t gain a deeper understanding of life. We simply move from one thing to the next, never pausing to consider what valuable lessons we might learn.

So..stop and take some time for Self-Reflection.

Sometimes the purpose of our day is found in the smallest details.
"Ahimsa", is one of the Yamas contained in "The Eight Limbs of Yoga" of Patanjali.
"Ahimsa" is the compassion and non-violence towards all living beings and towards ourselves, and we should practice it at all times....even with the smallest creatures that surround us.
Today I found this squab laying next to the place where I had parked my bike. The veterinary clinics and the organization in charge of wildlife protection of Tel Aviv were not helpful and told me that they didn't deal with "birds". I couldn't give up on this little one's life and finally found an amazing organization called www.forthewildlife.co.il who deals with all type of wild animals including birds. They helped me help this little bird who still has a whole life ahead of it 🤗🤗🤗 !

A veces el propósito de nuestro día se encuentra en los más pequeños detalles.

"Ahimsa" es la compasión y la no violencia hacia todos los seres vivos y hacia nosotros mismos, la cual debemos practicar en todo momento....incluso con las más pequeñas criaturas que nos rodean.
Hoy encontré a este pichón tirado al lado del lugar donde estacione mi bicicleta. Las clínicas veterinarias y la organización a cargo de la protección de la vida silvestre en Tel Aviv no me ayudaron y me dijeron que ellos no trataban con pájaros, solamente con animales silvestres. No podía renunciar a la vida de este pequeño hasta que finalmente encontré una organización increíble llamada www.forthewildlife.co.il quienes me ayudaron a ayudar a este coronadito que aún tiene toda una vida por delante 🤗🤗🤗!
