Israel is currently facing challenging times with a divided society. The Reut Group, in collaboration with the ANU - Museum of the Jewish People and the Tisch Center for Jewish Dialogue, sees it as our duty to bring people from all points of view together to discuss and exchange ideas. We are excited to announce that with the support of a special ROI grant from the Schusterman Foundation, we have called upon members of the Jewish Peoplehood Coalition to take action.

We are proud to introduce our new program "Coalition in Dialogue - Peoplehood in a Time of Crisis," which has been running for the past few weeks at the ANU Museum. Our goal with these events is to strengthen the connection between coalition members and explore our specific role in this challenging time. We firmly believe that important conversations like these are crucial in bringing people together and working towards a united society. During times of crisis, we need to hold our connections even stronger and emphasize the importance of peoplehood and solidarity as part of how we navigate our disagreements.

We invite everyone to join us and be a part of this crucial conversation. Let's talk to each other instead of about each other.

Reut Alumna Tracy Frydberg, the former special advisor for the Minister of Diaspora Affairs and director of the Tisch Center for Jewish Dialogue at the ANU - Museum of the Jewish People wrote an open letter to American Jews for The The Times of Israel. Together with Barak Sella, the new Director of the Reut Institute, they express their thoughts about how we should change our expectations towards American Jewry regarding recent events in Israel.

On Monday, Reut Group CEO Eran Shayshon had the great honor of speaking at the Discussion on the Findings of Diaspora Ministry's Annual Antisemitism Report at the Knesset. The panel of experts addressed the current challenges regarding Antisemitism around the world and in various arenas. Shayshon discussed the cultural norms that encourage the emergence of Antisemitism and proposed three recommendations: Developing a strategy to combat Antisemitism of any kind, to leverage on the Abraham Accords in a way that undermines Antisemitism in the US, and framing the notion that Jews are "White and privileged" as a threat.

We wish all the luck to the new Minister of Diaspora Affairs and Social Equality עמיחי שיקלי - Amichai Chikli for the invitation. We look forward to future cooperation around improving Israel and World Jewry relations.

The Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Reut hosted the Israeli initiated by Reut, to an event focusing on Diaspora Diplomacy. Participants were exposed to the work of the Diaspora Unit presented by Hamutal Rogel Fuchs and Shuli Davidovich. We heard senior diplomat and deputy GM for Public Diplomacy Nachshon, Reut's deputy CEO Barak Sella and CEO Eran Shayshon. We heard stories and lessons learned from three senior diplomats who served in Peru, Ukraine, and Canada Asaf Ichilivith, Yoel Leon, and Gali Baram. The highlight was a serious, funny conversation with Guri Alfi-aharon and Moshe Samuels, the creator of the excellent TV series The New Jew.
