My fabulous client Harriet looking so beautiful at her daughter’s recent Bat Mitzvah photoshoot!
I complimented the hat to the silver grey shades of the dress, and created an abstract ombre twist which was hand dyed and hand-sewn. I love the simplicity of this sculptured hand crafted clean twist design to ensure a perfect match to complete the outfit look!

So much time goes into making each hat perfect, from choosing the correct colour and fabric or hand dyeing design features to hand sewing delicate intricate details ensuring each hat is positioned with balance and design proportion and finished well. All of which is such a pleasure to make for such special and personal occasions!
Harriet is a delightful and decisive client to work with and was able to visualise what we roughly designed together and trusted in me to create an appropriate hat that was clean and elegant and not “too fussy”.
It is all so worth it when I receive the professional WOW pictures from beautiful happy customers!

When a client comes to me wanting a colour block statement hat to compliment her block coloured dress its refreshing and brings me so much joy and delight to get into my creative zone and be able to design and make something that’s not black or navy for a change! 😅

I just love these photos from Adi Bar-tal at her daughter’s recent wedding this week!
I received so many fabulous photos I had to share!(With her permission!) 🧡💜

Adi came to see me with a vision, lots of requests for the hat…a “wow colour”, a statement, height, netting, feathers! We were back and forth with the colour and then the shade of purple with lots of decision making. She wanted it all and eventually we finalised details and made it work and I created a fabulous tasteful look to complete her outfit!

Colour blocking means taking colours that are on opposite sides of the colour wheel and putting them together to create a contrast that compliments!

Not everyone can pull colour off so fabulously but Adi really looks sensational and she happens to be a super young, fun mum too!! It was a pleasure to meet you Adi and create the hat of your dreams! 💜🧡

Adi sent me this lovely message in Hebrew which touched me to know my creation brought so much happiness and joy to her at her daughter’s wedding!

Katia Pollak-Hessel looking absolutely gorgeous at her son’s recent Bar Mitzvah weekend celebrations.
Katia’s striking dress was so beautiful, so we chose a simple but elegant hat pulling the colours together to compliment her outfit perfectly.

I also made for Katia a fabulous custom made hat in black and ivory with pearls to wear at the synagogue Bar Mitzvah service on Shabbat day. It is a real beauty made from the luxurious Peachbloom velour fabric, very chic and elegant.
I have no doubt that Katia looked incredible!

Yesterday evening, I was invited to attend The British Ambassador’s Residence where they hosted the The Peres Center for Peace & Innovation מרכז פרס לשלום ולחדשנות Circle members for a British evening Tea Party.
The Deputy Ambassador, Ben Myers, UK in Israel welcomed the guests and praised their work to promote peace between Israel and it’s neighbours and thanked them for their support and cooperation with the embassy.

The Peres Circle friends truly enjoyed their British Tea Garden Party and having the chance to strike a pose infront of the camera in some of my hats and feel a hint of British Royal glamour for the evening!

Suzan came to me asking to accessorise some British traditional style to compliment her look for the launch of the luxurious and wonderful fragrance, "PENHALIGON'S", which brings you the aroma of British magic that has existed since 1870, amongst the aristocracy of women and men in the heart of the United Kingdom.

Whilst we are enjoying our warm January and having a wonderful week of sunshine it is never too late to share wonderful photos of my clients!

It is always such a joy to receive the professional pictures from my lovely ladies and see my bespoke handmade pieces in action even if it’s a little after the event!

Beautiful mother of the bride, Liv with her equally beautiful daughter wearing her bespoke hat.
Liv wanted a perfect colour match to compliment the detail of her dress, something that was a bit wow but also felt suitable and modest for the occasion.
Comfort was an important factor too.
When your client happens to have fabulous taste in design and attention to detail and be your cousin too the pressure is certainly on but I think we nailed the brief!

Liv’s hat was hand blocked from Parasisal straw, a finely woven high quality millinery straw. Trimmed with hand made wavy ruffled panels each individually steamed and machine sewn along the edges and then hand sewn to the hat with a gold centre laser cut detail embellishment.

This was a very beautiful hat and a delight to make for a very special elegant person!
Liv, you looked absolutely stunning from such a magnificent day! Mazal Tov!
