✨Today is the day for our meditative movement session, which is similar to yoga but without its philosophical aspects. I personally always look forward to Tuesdays because it’s not only a physical practice for me but also a way of nurturing my mind. Heather, our instructor, starts the practice by applying some lovely essential oil on our wrists, instantly creating a calming atmosphere. She is as delicate as morning dew, and her gentle demeanor sets the tone for the entire session.
Heather’s approach is intuitive and mindful. She has an incredible ability to read the room and guide us into the positions our bodies need at that moment. Her instructions are clear and soothing, helping us to relax and fully engage in the practice. The gentle stretches and mindful movements not only work on our flexibility and strength but also bring a sense of peace and clarity to our minds.
At the end of the session, Heather concludes with a brief but very welcome foot massage for all of us. This small gesture of care leaves everyone feeling pampered and deeply relaxed. It’s a perfect end to a rejuvenating practice, leaving us all looking forward to the next session.

Which style is best for you? My classes mostly combine the mindful movement of vinyasa with grounding poses of hatha and often deepen with one or two yin poses. I also aim to infuse my classes with Jewish spiritual teachings.
