There are many days when you might feel demotivated to exercise or eat right .
That happens and it’s quite normal but what to do , if that feeling stays for a long time and you don’t find any motivation to get back on track…

For me , whenever that happens ,it’s the Old pics which pump me up .
That’s why it’s important to keep clicking your pics on regular intervals. They will one day , will become your BEST SOURCE OF MOTIVATION.

Elon Musk lost 13 kgs and he shared about it on Twitter . He credited his weight loss to 3 things - “Fasting , Diabetes drug Semaglutide, and staying away from Tasty Foods” .
Now, since many youngsters follow him blindly so it’s important that as a fitness expert ,I must give my opinion on this topic .
So,here goes my 2 cents -:
1. Fasting might help some individuals to lose weight but it’s not for everyone(specially for diabetics,high BP patients and ones suffering from migraines and anxiety).
2. Diabetic drug Semaglutide has shown promise in weight loss by suppressing appetite,but it’s long term effects are still unknown and it can be ‘highly risky’ to pop any such pill , without consulting your doctor . So kindly stay away from it.
3. Staying away from tasty foods is a sound advise as they are high in calories and quite addictive . This is one advise from Elon , which I too endorse.
Take home message -:
Fasting is not for everyone, Don’t pop weight loss pills (better try making changes in lifestyle) , keep tasty foods for special occasions only and lastly , take inspiration from Musk but don’t follow him Blindly.

P.S. - I am sprinting since a very early age . Since sprinting is a vigorous activity so Kindly don’t start sprinting without proper training experience & guidance as heart rate goes pretty high during sprints and that can be risky & cause problems in some individuals.
Also , don’t sprint when it’s hot & humid outside .
If you want to Sprint , then be patient & give your body ,time to adapt . Always increase your speed,distance & duration gradually only(don’t compete with anyone as everyone is unique). Like everything,it’s also a Skill and you need patience (sometimes years) to attain a decent speed but if you stay consistent,the efforts will be worth it .
Just don’t rush & build the required fitness gradually only.

In past 3-4 years , I have lost decent amount of muscle and have gained overall body fat(my fat% has gone up from 15 to around 20%) . I have gained fat over tummy and face .
Few reasons for the same -:
1. I don’t lift heavy weights now(I lift moderate weights in 8-10 rep range).
2. I don’t Sprint anymore(I just jog a little and brisk walk for atleast 1 hour everyday) & have stopped Boxing.
3. My protein intake has dropped from 150 grams per day to 80 grams per day(I still eat Natural & Whole Foods and avoid junk).
But Why is this so ?
I have other things in my life which are consuming a lot of my energy(mainly reading a lot of different subjects , making videos and focusing on YouTube).
And rest of the time ,I have to make diet plan for clients and take their calls(in that too,I have restricted my client intake to 10 per month due to sheer work load).
And I am not a kind of person , who believe in all work and no Play . I still manage to find 2/3 hours everyday for fun ,gossiping and just chilling(I am a hedonist and don’t believe in unnecessary struggle and hustle).
That’s ok, but why this post ?
This post is to remind you , that as per your life priorities , sometimes you have to alter your fitness goals & you might have to deliberately degrade(in terms of looks and performance).
Having said that , I am of the opinion ,that no matter , what the external circumstances be …one can still maintain a decent body ,eat clean and do regular exercise(all things ,which I still maintain & do take annual health check ups).
Keeping in mind , about my current endeavors & focus areas . I know ,I won’t be able to reach my previous levels of fitness and body composition any time soon(atleast for next 6-8 months) …but I will try my best, to maintain the Best I can .
