Job Title: Brand Floor Manager

Job Description:

As an Brand Floor Manager in a garment showroom, your primary responsibility involves overseeing various aspects of the retail operation to ensure smooth functioning and excellent customer service. Here are some typical roles and responsibilities:

Team Management:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates and other staff members.
Train new employees on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards.
Schedule shifts and manage staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
Customer Service:

Greet customers and assist them in finding the products they need.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and courteous manner.
Ensure that the sales team provides personalized assistance and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction.
Visual Merchandising:

Maintain an attractive and organized store layout to showcase men's ethnic wear effectively.
Coordinate with the visual merchandising team to set up displays, window arrangements, and promotional signage.
Monitor inventory levels and replenish merchandise as needed to keep the floor well-stocked.
Sales and Performance:

Set sales targets and motivate the team to achieve or exceed them.
Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Implement strategies to drive sales, such as promotions, upselling techniques, and cross-selling initiatives.
Product Knowledge:

Stay informed about the latest trends, styles, and fabrics in men's ethnic wear.
Educate staff members about the features and benefits of different products to enhance their selling skills.
Provide input to the buying team based on customer preferences and market demands.
Inventory Management:

Monitor stock levels and conduct regular inventory checks to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
Coordinate with the warehouse or procurement team to ensure timely delivery of new merchandise.
Implement measures to minimize shrinkage and loss through theft or damage.
Health and Safety:

Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and hygiene standards.
Train staff on emergency procedures, such as evacuation routes and first aid techniques.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any hazards or maintenance issues.
Communication and Reporting:

Communicate effectively with other departments, such as marketing, finance, and human resources.
Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance, inventory status, and operational issues.
Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional events or campaigns.
Requirements:

Education:

Graduate or MBA
Some employers may prefer candidates with a bachelor's degree in business administration, or retail management.
Experience:

Previous experience in retail management, particularly in a clothing or fashion-related environment, is highly desirable.
Experience specifically in men's ethnic wear or a similar niche market is advantageous.
Demonstrated success in team management, sales leadership, and customer service is essential.
Skills:

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, for interacting with customers, staff, and senior management.
Proficiency in sales techniques, including upselling, cross-selling, and closing deals.
Sound understanding of inventory management principles and retail operations.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain visual merchandising standards.
Problem-solving skills to address customer issues and operational challenges.
Basic knowledge of computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) software for transactions and reporting.
Product Knowledge:

Thorough understanding of men's ethnic wear, including different styles, fabrics, and cultural significance.
Ability to stay updated on current fashion trends and industry developments.
Leadership Qualities:

Proven ability to lead by example, inspire others, and foster a positive work environment.
Confidence in decision-making and ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced retail setting.
Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing business needs and customer demands.
Integrity and professionalism in dealing with both customers and employees.
Physical Requirements:

The role may involve standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of moderately heavy items, so physical fitness and stamina are beneficial.

Pay: upto ₹15,000.00 per month
