..and we are back with our next edition of Anxiety Anonymous!🙌

Anxiety Anonymous (AnA) is an offline support group started by The Circle of Support (CoS), India.🪢

This time Circle of Support brings you the anxiety support group which will be specifically focusing on Anxiety around Romantic Relationships. The hope for the support group is to provide a safe space to share your story of anxiety around relationships and hear from others who are going through a similar experience, nurture a sense of belongingness and even develop new resources and perspectives.💛

What do you think? 🤔

The term enmeshment describes relationships, which have become so intertwined that boundaries are undifferentiated or diffused.

A close bond in familial or romantic relationships is often assumed to be a good thing, but sometimes, it can cross the line into enmeshment. Recognizing the signs of an enmeshed relationship can help identify trouble spots and can ultimately lead to a healthier relationship.

Our very first support group -Anxiety Anonymous- was indeed a fulfilling experience.
We felt heard, understood and connected. 🔗

We went home feeling that we are definitely not alone in our mental health struggles .

We spoke about our stories & emotions in an atmosphere of acceptance, understanding, and encouragement. 👥👥👥👥

It is amazing how much ease and growth a group of people coming together and just listening can provide.

Black-and-white thinking–also known as all-or-nothing thinking–is when one views the world in absolutes. It’s a reductionist mindset where situations are often boiled down to two options: I’m good at this or bad at this; This will be a success or failure; This is awesome or this is terrible. Thinking in absolutes instead of shades of grey contributes to stress, worry, and overall lack of well-being.

In a relationship, the strength of your bond can make a big difference in whether you both get your needs met.

Although every relationship looks a little different, these 7 emotional needs are a good starting point for considering whether you and your partner are each getting what you need from the relationship.

If you want to be there for someone who’s dealing with depression or anxiety, you’re already being a great friend. It can be hard to know exactly how to help someone with depression or anxiety, and what to say to someone who's having a rough time. Remember that each person is different, and while these tips are a guide, when helping a friend with depression or anxiety, it’s important to talk with your friend about what they feel they need. **kdepression 🖤🖤🖤

It is OKAY to express yourself fully if you feel your boundaries are being violated by your family.

If you have trouble standing up to your family members, you're not alone. But with practice, you can get better at it — and as you do, you'll likely develop a healthier relationship with less resentment.

The Anger Iceberg represents the idea that, although anger is displayed outwardly, other emotions may be hidden beneath the surface. These other feelings—such as sadness, fear, or guilt—might cause a person to feel vulnerable, or they may not have the skills to manage them effectively.

By exploring what’s beneath the surface, people can gain insight into their anger. For example, someone who realizes their anger is fueled by jealousy may benefit from communication skills, whereas someone who realizes their anger is caused by stress will benefit from developing self-care habits.
