Amongst the lesser known treasures of the woven textiles of Benaras, is the Tanchoi.

The most commonly-held belief is that this weaving technique made its way to India through Parsi traders travelling the silk route.

The inspiration for our collection Kaashi is all-encapsulating - from brocades to tanchoi.
