Glimpses from Staff vs Students sports event.

Photos from Jacob Institute of Biotechnology and Bioengineering's post 24/11/2022

Farewell sports match (Final year students vs 1, 2 and 3 year students) Sports has the ability to unite a group of people from different positions, all working together to achieve a target. And even if they fall short sharing that journey is an experience they can never forget.
Sports leads us more towards the path of dedication, perseverance, and teamwork.
It also teaches one to handle success and cope with failure.
So, perhaps the greatest glory of sports is that it teaches so much about life.
Tough times doesn't last but tough teams do

Biotechnology as a subject is interesting, relevant, and important for young minds to prepare themselves as scientists and technocrats. It is a subject that combines the classical and the modern contemporary fields of life sciences. Biotechnology is a subject of today and the future. To prepare young students in the field of Biotechnology the Department of Molecular and Cellular Engineering offers two UG Programs and three PG programs in Biotechnology. These are: B.Sc. (Hons.) Biotechnology (4 years), B.Tech. Biotechnology (4 years, M.Sc. Biotechnology (2 years), M.Tech. Biotechnology (2 years) and M.Sc. (Ag.) Biotechnology (2 years). The faculty of the Department is vastly experienced with national and international exposure to both academics and industry. Our laboratories are equipped with the latest equipment; an ideal place for a young student of biotechnology to examine and satisfy their curiosity about the processes of life and its unique engineering wonders. The Department of Molecular and Cellular Engineering is among the first along with IIT Karagpur in India to start the B.Tech. Biotechnology programme in India.
Open online counselling has begun from 1st July 2021.
