The above saying clearly states that with the emergence of the true Guru Nanak, the mist of ignorance cleared and the light of faith got scattered all around.
Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was the founder of Sikhism and the first of the ten Sikh Gurus.
At Superkidz @ Holy Heart School the little munchkins celebrated the 554th birthday of Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji also known as ‘Gurpurab’ in great excitement and enthusiasm. The school ambience was ecstatically decorated for the occasion.
The school mentors enlightened kids about the importance of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings and also told them about the importance of sharing and equality of all human beings. The students recite the Mool Mantra ‘Ek Onkar’, resonating the universe. The tiny tots of class Pre Nursery visited Guruduara Sahib along with their teachers and helping staff and paid reverence at the door of all mighty. Kids felt captivated with serenity and calmness which floated in the air with the beautiful humming of the shabads inside Gurudwara Sahib. They also enjoyed the holy karah parshad and langar there.
The School Director Mrs Anjana Vijay Seth and Principal Mrs. Shilpa Vikram Seth wished everyone on this sacred occasion. Principal Mrs. Shilpa Vikram Seth told kids to learn valuable lessons from the life and teachings of the first Sikh Guru and practice to live honestly, treat everyone equally regardless of gender, religion, etc., respect the environment, and give back to the community through service.
“Zooming down the road, oh so cool,
Learning traffic rules in our school.
Red says stop, like a cherry on top,
Yellow means slow, don’t let the speed pop.
Green is go, like the grass below,
Traffic lights guide us, to and fro.
Hold our little hands, don’t be a fool,
Cross the road safely, in our school.”
Exploring the world of traffic safety at Super Kidz@Holy Heart School. Our nursery class teachers recently embarked on an educational journey with our little ones, diving into the realm of traffic safety. The school premises were transformed into a vibrant cityscape complete with roads, parking areas, and a bustling market. The kids gained hands-on experience with traffic rules. In the lively atmosphere, children encountered the significance of red, yellow, and green lights through catchy rhymes. Acknowledging the vital role of traffic police, all with the helping hands of our diligent security guards, the kids not only embraced the activity but also learned new vocabulary. Under the wise guidance of Principal Mrs. Shilpa Vikram Seth, this educational adventure at Super Kidz is steering our little ones toward a brighter, safer future.
“Safety tools in hand, a helmet we wear,
Cruising on our tricycles, with utmost care.
Stop and look, listen too,
Traffic rules keep us safe, it’s what we do.”
Happy Bhai Dooj
“Light up the diyas, let happiness shine,
Diwali’s here, a festival divine”.
“Diwali, the festival of lights, was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm at Superkidz@Holy Heart School on November 10, 2023. The KG class conducted a special assembly in the presence of the Director, Mrs. Anjana Vijay Seth, and the Principal, Mrs. Shilpa Vikram Seth.
Our young stars began the festivities with a heartwarming ‘Shabad’ on ‘Bandi Chod Diwas.’ This day is special because it reminds us of the day Guru Hargobind Ji was set free from prison, which is an essential part of our history and spirituality.
Next, the students performed a captivating act with utmost passion and confidence depicting the various characters and events of the holy epic Ramayana. The children then danced to a Diwali song and sang a song on Bhai Dooj. The entire school came together to celebrate the festivals.
The school was beautifully decorated for the occasion with diyas, lanterns, and other festive adornments. All the kids were dressed in traditional Indian attire. They not only enjoyed the celebrations but also learned valuable lessons from the Ramayana, sang songs related to Bhai Dooj, to celebrate the bond of sibling love.
Our youngest stars from the Pre-Nursery class also joined in the celebrations by crafting sweets, Diyas, and even crackers, adding their innocent touch to this grand occasion, helping them develop their creativity and fine motor skills. It was a heartwarming reminder that Diwali is not just about celebrations but also about sharing and caring. The school administration brought smiles to the under priveledged people, by providing sweets and gifts contributed by the families of our tiny tots. It symbolizes the true essence of this festival - love, light, and togetherness.”
The performers had beautiful clicks with School Director Mrs. Anjana Vijay Seth and Principal Mrs. Shilpa Vikram Seth. They shared valuable lessons with the kids, highlighting the importance of celebrating an eco-friendly and safe Diwali, along with the values of sharing, caring, and fostering peace during this auspicious festival.

BUILDING A SOLID FOUNDATION FOR A BRIGHT FUTURE.
Water – a drop of miracle
Water is for all of us!
Water is for me,
Water is for you,
Water is for animals,
Water is for birds,
Water is for plants,
Water is for everyone,
Water is for all of us!
Water is an extremely important element for the survival of all living organisms on our planet. There will be no living beings on this planet without water, since each living organism requires water to survive. The significance of water is crucial in more than one way. Furthermore, there’s no substitute for water. To showcase the importance of water, its sources, uses and ways to keep it clean and conserve the young masters of class KG and LKG portrayed many informative activities in the special morning assembly sessions. Kids expressed their ideas in form of rhymes, extempore, thoughts, slogans and by singing songs. Children were also shown informational videos regarding uses of water, its sources and how to conserve it to maximize its benefits for all mankind. At the end, kids took a pledge to conserve water and minimize its wastage as they understood “NO WATER” is equal to “NO LIFE”.
