Covid-19: Kashmir resident doctors seek temporary accommodation as 120 test positive.

The Resident Doctors of Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar have requested the Jammu and Kashmir administration for temporary accommodation, after over 120 of them tested positive for COVID19 infection during the second wave of the pandemic, according to the information released by their association.
Taking to their Twitter handle, Resident Doctors said, “More than 120 resident doctors of GMC Srinagar have been infected by COVID-19,”
“To save our families from the dangers of getting infected, we request the admin to provide us with temporary accommodation,” it said.
The tweet further added that “the same has been provided for doctors in almost all parts of India including Jammu part of our region”. “We appeal to the Kashmir administration to kindly provide us with the same,” read the tweet.
Earlier, the Association had said in a tweet that over a hundred resident doctors and their family members have tested positive for the virus and even succumbed to it but that did not “deter” their morale.
“In the line of duty more than 100 resident doctors of GMC Srinagar and (an) even higher number of their family members have tested positive so far during this 2nd wave,” RDA GMC Srinagar said. “Few lost their lives too but that hasn’t deterred the morale of our resident doctors,” they had tweeted.
GMC Srinagar is the oldest medical college in Kashmir valley and has nearly a dozen hospitals associated with it.

Anxious parents asking whether third wave will affect children more than adults !
I don't think so !
Children have low expression of ACE receptors in their airways where the virus binds to the host and their innate ( natural ) immunity is better than adults !
But with the adult and elderly population relatively immune ( either infected or vaccinated ) the THIRD WAVE which is expected in October- November 2021 will infect the vulnerable ( not immune ) population !
90% of children will still have mild disease even in the THIRD WAVE !
10% of those infected children will need hospitalization !
Since the number of infected children will be more due to the fact that they will still be vulnerable ( not immune ) hence that 10% of children needing hospitalization will be proportionally more !
We need to prepare the infrastructure and workforce for that 10% !
Pediatric covid task force needs to be framed !
Pediatric covid care centers need to come up !
We need skilled manpower including doctors and paramedical staff who are well trained to manage pediatric patients !
Since pediatric patients can't stay alone in hospitals so mothers will have to stay with them !
Hence we must vaccinate all adults !
It's good that clinical trials are going on in children for safety and efficacy of vaccines in them !
Let's hope that our children would be eligible for vaccination sooner than later !
VACCINATION IS THE SINGLE BEST PROTECTION AGAINST COVID FOR ALL AGE GROUPS !
We need to procure low flow oxygen flow meters which can be used in children who need oxygen !
We need to procure medicine and equipment specifically required in children who will either be admitted for covid or MIS-C ( post covid complication in children ) !
We need to ear mark pediatric in patient facilities in all districts and sub district levels !
We need to update Pediatric ICUs at divisional and district levels !
Equipment like pediatric ventilators and BIPAP machines need to be procured !
We don't have any reason to panic but we have got every reason to prepare !
We must not let the third wave catch us unawares and unprepared !

25-year-old Srinagar youth, 24 others die of covid in J-K

A 25-year-old youth was among 25 people who succumbed to the covid-19 since last evening in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Saturday.
They said that sixteen of these deaths were reported from GMC Jammu while nine were reported from Kashmir.
The 25-year-old youth from Natipora Srinagar died at SKIMS Soura, two days after he was admitted to the tertiary care hospital, the officials told.
A 50-year-old man from Kathidarwaz Srinagar also died at SKIMS, nearly a week after he was admitted there, they said.
A 60-year-old man from Karannagar Srinagar died a day after he was admitted to SKIMS, they said.
A 73-year-old woman from Sanatnagar died five days after she was admitted to SKIMS, they said.
An 80-year-old man from Umer Colony Lal Bazar Srinagar who was admitted to SMHS hospital on April 27 died at the facility, they said.
Also, they said, a 75-year-old man from Solina Payeen Srinagar, a 62-year-old man from Hyderpora and a 55-year-old from Wanabal Nowgam died at SMHS hospital.
A 50-year-old woman from Hangalpora died at GMC Anantnag, less than a day after she was admitted there, they said.
Also, a 37-year-old man from Bihar was brought dead to GMC Anantnag and tested positive for covid-19, they said. However, his death would not be counted among the fatalities in J-K, they said.
With these fresh deaths, the number of people succumbing to the virus has gone up to 2308 in J-K—905 in Jammu and 1403 in Kashmir.

From 3 October 2020 to 7 October, 3 patients of covid died in Aurangabad and 120 patients of other diseases but all the patients were put in covid to spread fear among the people. About 90% of the people who have died in the hospital have died from remedesavir and people are dying for the same. Lack of oxygen is being caused by wearing masks but still people are being forced to wear masks.

If 5G testing is stopped then the death of people will stop automatically. The entire game is being played under the World Order which will run till 2024/2025. The goal is to completely wipe out the economy and halve the population.
