As an founding member, I’m so excited to share our first vendor partnership with - a capsule collection designed by members of Interior Collab that tells a story about light and shadows and the transition from dark to light called “Shadow Play”.

For a sneak peak head to the JD Staron booth # 937 May 15- 17, 2022 in NYC.

Here is a photo from our previous dining area as featured by . This little styling moment carries many of my favorite things.

Here is another "could have been" option for this space. I love the texture of this one as well. So many pretty choices out there !!

is photo from our dining area as featured by (link in bio). This little dining space can hold between 8-10 people (if you don't mind getting cozy). This is the beauty of oval or round tables, they seem to be infinitely expandable due to the lack of corners. This table is custom made form solid, splatted maple. Spalted maple has unique figuring created by a fungus that grows on the tree. So much prettier than it sounds!

Here is another chair that would have worked well in this little corner. Texture was a must! What would you have picked? Swipe for final selection.

- [ ] Here is photo from our old master bedroom as featured by . This little corner served as my vanity, and also a makeshift second desk during the pandemic, when my husband and I worked from home simultaneously. The shelving alcove was space taken from an excessively deep hallway closet. In NYC real estate, every inch counts. If you look closely, you might have more space than you think.

Whenever I post project, I like to share items that could have worked but didn't quite make the cut. Here is a consideration as an alternative to the light fixture which was used. What do you think? Would you have gone with this or the final selection??

Excited to share my previous home, as featured by this week! Thank you and for taking the time to feature this project! See link in bio for full tour.

Lighting can be so much more than mere function. There are so many interesting options to pick from. I see lighting as the jewelry of a space. It completes a look and adds some sparkle. Which would you chose ? 1 or 2?

Here is a look back to a project completed a few years ago. We were fortunate enough to have been featured on ! I’m excited to be working with again! One of my favorite things about being a designer is my clients. I have been so fortunate to have the best clients. Over the years they become friends. I am always thrilled when an amazing client reaches out again for a new space. In this dining room, we fused Michele’s sleek NYC style with her new home in the suburbs of Westchester. What do you think about how we mixed the two styles in this space? I definitely have a different to approach to an apartment in Manhattan than a home in suburbia, but I don’t think that having a traditional home means you have to lose that modern edge. Thoughts?

I love this installation by Maren Kloppmann. Repetition in art has a very soothing affect on us as our brains tend to crave order visual organization.

In this home office at our Sag Harbor project, the natural light was the star of the show. We were able to float the desk in the space for maximum airiness. - furniture does not always need to go up against the wall. Pulling it into the center of a space creates a sense of openness. If you’re wondering where all the wires go, laptops are ideal in this kind of set up.

The design process involves many decisions. While we can love so many pieces, sadly some but be left behind when it comes time to final selections. Here are two other coffee table options we considered for this recently featured project. Swipe to the the final selection. Which one would you have picked? Drop a note in the comments.

Here is another little corner of a family friendly living room in Sag Harbor, New York. Makes me look forward to the sunny days ahead! tip - if you can’t decide between twoside tables, don’t. Use two like we did. Just make sure the scales are varied and that they don’t have too many legs. No one likes looking at a mess of legs.

The design process involves many decisions. So so many decisions! This was another option in place of the modern rattan chair used in our recently featured project. Swipe to the the final selection. I’m curious to know which one would you have picked? Drop a note in the comments.

This piece was a consideration for the previously posted space. Unfortunately, I can no longer find the artist's information. There is something about the gracefulness of a jelly fish draws me every time.

In a little corner of a once formal living room designed for a family of 4 in Sag Harbor, New York, we used natural materials to bring in some beach vibes. You don't need sea shells and nautical blue to evokesthe same feelings of repose that the ocean brings forth. This modern rocker invites you to relax and take in the calm.

One of my favorite things about this project was the deep level of client involvement. My clients selected this artwork. I never would have thought about these images for the space, but I love them so much! These photos, by have such a great energy! They are one of the first things you see upon entry into their home, and they set the intention for just having an authentically good time! Art can tell so much about who we are and I encourage clients to be involved in the selection of their own art whenever possible.

Some people say there is no right or wrong when it comes to furniture selections. I completely disagree with this. Function, scale, proportion, these things really matter. But when it comes to art, you have to go with what moves you. Here, they literally did.

Why do I love the Buchon stool (by ) so much…? Maybe it is the unabashed literal translation of one of my favorite things embodied by a piece of furniture 🤔

Minimal kitchen at 3 Hanover Square. Using two tones in the kitchen helps to add interest to the space. High gloss lacquer bounces light around this compact space. Taking the counter up the wall for a seamless backsplash makes cleaning a breeze and keeps the materials uniform and cohesive.
