Any cardio exercise like running is an excellent exercise to condition your cardiovascular system, strengthening the walls of the heart and increasing its overall efficiency. It also supports healthy blood flow and reduces bad cholesterol levels in the body. People who run every day tend to have stronger hearts and low pulse rates, which reduce their risk of developing hypertension or other cardiovascular issues by 35-55 per cent.

However, If your goal is more caloric expenditure, then jumping rope is a better option than running. One minute of it can burn 10-16 calories, which means skipping rope for 30 minutes, segmenting into three 10-minute rounds can burn around 480 calories. Ten minutes of jumping rope is equivalent to running for an eight-minute mile, which can result in faster fat loss, especially around your abdomen and trunk muscles.

So as you got to know that each of these have benefits associated with it. Thus, stop procrastinating and choose both of them. Once you are accustomed enough, you can choose one depending upon your ultimate body goal.

When it comes to push-ups, it is believed that typically performing them on an incline, or in any other way that shortens your range of motion (a.k.a., how much you need to bend your elbows to reach the bottom of the movement), makes them easier. Adding components that challenge stability, work other muscle groups, or have your arms in a declined position makes the movement more challenging.

Presenting 3 push up variations you should try at home to notch up your home regime workout:

1. Modified Push-Up on Yoga Block
Start in a high plank position with your hands flat on the floor about shoulder-width apart, wrists under shoulders.
Place a yoga block or similar surface for elevation under your knees.
Keeping your body in one long line, bend your arms and lower your body as close to the floor as you can.
Push back up to start.

2. Wide-Grip Push-Ups
Start in a high plank position with your hands flat on the floor a little bit wider than shoulder-width apart, wrists under shoulders.
Keeping your body in one long line, bend your arms and lower yourself as close to the floor as you can.
Push back up to start.

3. Spiderman Push-Ups
Start in a high plank position with your hands flat on the floor about shoulder-width apart, wrists under shoulders.
Keeping your body in one long line, bend your arms and lower yourself as close to the floor as you can.
As you lower your body, bend one leg out to the side and bring your knee toward the same-side arm.
Push back up to start, and straighten your leg back out.
Repeat alternating sides.

Nutrition can certainly be a complex topic, but there are certain principles that we just don’t need to overthink. Here are some “fast facts” to help you stop over-complicating your eating.

1. The frequency you eat doesn’t matter. One meal or five will have the same affect at the end of the day if the food is the same.

2. If you want to lose weight, you need to be in a caloric deficit. How you get into a deficit will vary, and maybe there are some obstacles in your way, but it still holds true.

3. Drink your water. It’s important for pretty much everything.

4. There is no food you CAN’T have. Restrictive diets that tell you that you have to avoid certain foods are not worth following.

5. If your goal is weight loss, you technically don’t need to worry about your micronutrients, but they are very important for your overall health.

6. The exact way you split up your fat/protein/carbs depends completely on your lifestyle and needs.

7. See number 1. You can split your meals up however you want, whenever you want.

8. Don’t be afraid to eat fat. Women, eating enough fat is especially important for dem hormones.

9. If you went keto and lost weight that’s great- but it’s not magic. Keto put you in a caloric deficit.

10. No matter your goals, you don’t have to count your calories or track your macros. It can certainly help, but it’s not a necessity.

Like many people, you probably face this constant conundrum when you walk into the gym: Should you do cardio before or after lifting weights?
The short answer is that it largely depends on your goals.
If your primary goal is to increase your aerobic endurance or lose body fat, then you should perform cardio first. If your primary goal is to increase muscular strength, then do strength training first. To get the most out of your workout, perform the exercise that is most important to your goals first, when you are not fatigued.

If your fitness goals include overall improvements, finish your workout with the type of exercise you enjoy most.
