In Ayurveda, an ancient system of medicine, Vata, Pitta, and Kapha are three doshas representing different combinations of the five elements (earth, water, fire, air, and ether) present in the body. Each dosha has specific characteristics, and balancing them is crucial for overall health. Here are ten food options for each dosha:
❤️Vata-Pacifying Foods:
1. Warm, Cooked Vegetables:
- Sweet potatoes,carrots, and beets.
2. Whole Grains:
- Quinoa, brown rice, and oats.
3. Nourishing Oils:
- Ghee (clarified butter) and sesame oil.
4. Spices:
- Cumin, ginger, and fennel.
5. Sweet Fruits:
- Bananas, mangoes, and berries.
6. Nuts and Seeds:
- Almonds, sunflower seeds, and flaxseeds.
7. Herbal Teas:
- Chamomile and ginger tea.
8. Legumes:
- Mung beans and red lentils.
9. Dairy:
- Warm milk and soft cheeses (in moderation).
10. Root Vegetables:
- Turnips, radishes, and sweet potatoes.
❤️Pitta-Pacifying Foods:
1. Cooling Fruits:
- Watermelon, cucumber, and melons.
2. Leafy Greens:
- Spinach, kale, and mint.
3. Bitter Vegetables:
- Bitter gourd, kale, and Brussels sprouts.

- Chicken, turkey, and tofu.
5. Whole Grains:
- Barley, basmati rice, and oats.

- Maple syrup and coconut sugar.

That is the most beautiful thing we can experience. And this is not possible without the body. And a live body so breath is also equally important.

Things you need during the class:
* A yoga mat
* two yoga blocks/two thick novels
* Yoga belt or cotton dupatta/ scarf
* Chair or small stool
