With the blessings of our Guruji, Late Vidwan B. Shankara Rao, our 38th anniversary along with Shri Purandaradasa, Shri Thyagaraja Aradhana celebration on 25th February 2023, was a grand success. Chief guests, Dr Gowri Murthy and Dr Pravin Murthy of Prabha Eye clinic spoke on the importance of learning music from a young age. Dr. Hema Divakar and Dr Divakar GV, founders of Divakar Speciality hospitals and our Co-Sponsor, highlighted how Prapancha’s students are spreading the universal message of Carnatic classical music all over the world.
Prapancha was indeed honoured to recognise the untiring efforts of senior Chemistry Professor Shri LR Vijayaraghavan in the academic domain and the renowned Carnatic music talent Vidwan Ghatam Giridhar Udupa. Thanks to all for making the event a grand success and we look forward to your ever-lasting support to Prapancha.

of Music looks forward to your presence on Sunday 7th Aug 2022 in the birth centenary celebrations of Vidwan B. Shankara Rao.
A documentary on guruji is being released and we are honouring 16 Carnatic flautists together. This will be followed by an interesting talk on history of Flute and it’s relevance in today’s classical music.

We are happy to invite you all with your family to Prapancha’s 37th Anniversary and Purandaradasa, Thyagaraja Aradhana on Saturday 6th August 2022, at Shree JayaRama seva Mandali 8th Block Jayanagar, Bangalore.
We are also celebrating Guru Vidwan B Shankara Rao’s birth centenary on Sunday 7th Aug at the same venue.

Celebrating our 36th anniversary and PurandaradAsa, ThyAgarAja Aradhana. With just 25 guests, we missed the usual festivities and buzz that we experience on Aradhana day. Nevertheless we are glad we could continue the tradition and seek the blessings of the revered vAggeyakArAs. We truly missed our guru Shri B Shankara Rao on this momentous occasion.
