I got introduced Yoga Vriksh through a friend, when I started feeling that my energy levels and physical activity was dipping with long work hours - in front of the laptop. I have thyroid issues , I am overweight with knee issues as well.
I joined Yoga Vrisksh online 1x1 sessions in August 2021.I was not sure if i could do Yoga as my confidence was low.
I must say Ms Sanjeeta and Ms Kala are excellent Yoga Gurus. They exactly understood my needs, and they go at a pace that will motivate me to do my best and better myself in every session. I did not imagine I could ever do Surya Namaskar in my life, after my knee issues from 2017.
Full credit to my teachers - they went really slow, went posture by posture, corrected it patiently and now its about 3 months. I can comfortably do 5 - 6 sets of Surya Namaskar along with the other Asanas, which in itself is a big achievement to me personally!
I feel positive, completely energised and motivated. With a balanced vegetarian diet along with Yoga,I have managed to lose about 7.5kgs in the last 3 months.
If one thinks Yoga classes are not effective via Zoom classes, then they should go thru the sessions with Ms Sanjeeta and Ms Kala.You will be amazed!!
I thank them both profusely for their patience .They have been instumental in bringing about a a big change to my health! and this is just the beginning of our long standing relationship

Thanks to Gurus. It’s been good feeling of learning severs asanas, suryanamaskara and it’s variations. I specifically love the Friday power session to sweat. Great journey so far 🙏🙏🙏

It has been an amazing transformational journey for me. Started in Jan of 2021… body is more agile, breathing has improved, and lots lots more flexibility. I have lost weight and maintained it after loosing (which was very hard before). Not that I am asking for it but I get compliments 😌and asked how did I do it? My answer is always Yoga!! Not many people realize weight loss is possible with Yoga! My friends have joined this group and are realizing the same. Thanks to the amazing gurus for all the benefits of Yoga! My 18months journey with this class was really great. Before joining this class my legs wont go down in butterfly pose but now 👍...and i cant do plow pose (halasana)...now i can do it very easily...Many times Kala mam asked me to do this after shoulder stand...
All three teachers are really excellent because they watch and correct us when ever we wrong.
Due to change in my office timings Im not able to continue with this group. I will also recommend my friends to join.

Here we also teach Chair yoga which is a gentle form of yoga that can be done while sitting. Some poses can also be done standing using a chair for support. Chair yoga can improve your flexibility, concentration and strength, while boosting your mood, and reducing stress and joint strain.

Mala Ragunath is a qualified Yoga teacher from SriSri School of Yoga, Bangalore and also holds Government Certification. She has 8 years experience in teaching and has been practicing yoga for the past 15+ years.
Styles taught : Hatha yoga, Vinyaasa and Cardio/Power yoga.

She says "I enjoy teaching yoga in a perfect flow as there is no perfect posture!!! I love to do lots of variation but traditional yoga is the ultimate.
