Today on 11 February 2024 Baramulla Adventure Club has orgnised one day Trekking Expedition from Namlan waterfall to Gawas under the leadership of Mr. Rayees Ahmad Mir. In this Trekking Expedition 12 members took participation. The group started trek from Namblan Narwah at 9: am and reached Gawas at 12 pm. The trail was medium covered with 1.5 feet snow...

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL MOUNTAIN DAY 2023

Baramulla Aventure club did Two days one night Trekking Expedition to Mount Mahadev peak of zabarwan Range Srinagar on 9th and 10th September 2023. The group consists of nine members had left Baramull 5:30 am and Reached Dara Harwan Scholars' School 7:15 am. After taking Morning tea at Scholars School canteen, the group Started trek at 8 00 am and reached Lidwas base camp at 1:30 pm. After night camping at lidwas the group heading towards Mahadev peak next day at 8:15 am and reached the destination at 11: 10 am . Alhamdullilah group scaled the peak successfully with of energy and enthusiasm which has an elevation 3966 meters (13011 feet) asl. The Mahadev peak is the 3rd Highest peak after Kolahoi and Mount Harmukh of Kashmir Valley. Though it was Challanging and thrilling trek but Alhamdulllah we did it successfully and we also summited chota Mahadev/ Mahadev II which is extremely eastrn side of Mahadev peak. After summit the team reached its base camp lidwas at 3:00 pm and started decend at 5 00: pm and took almost 2 to 3 hours to reach Darai. Alhamdullilah all members safely reached darai. I pay my gratitude to whole team. One more feather added in the Cap of Baramulla Adventure Club ....

Baramulla Adventure Club organised two days one night Trekking Expedition to sheera sar Bandipora on 5th & 6th August 2023. In this Trekking Expedition 16 members have participated. The Trek was facilitated by DFO Bandipora Chitternar Forest Division Mr. Mudasir Ahmad & CPO Bandipora Mr. Imtiyaz Ahmad Ganie. On behalf Baramulla Adventure Club iim highly thankful to both the officers who supported us to carryout this Trekking Expedition.
The group started trekking Expedition from Kudara Bandipora at 10:00 am and reached the sheera sar at 5:00 pm.
The sheera sar is almost 12 kms from kudara Bandipora. The trail of this trek is medium to hard with full of flowers, streams and meadows. Mini marg is the meadow where many Gujjar kothas are found. Sheera Sar is located at the bottom of Harmukh Peak with elevation of 12067 feet. The lake is a gift for nature lovers and a treasure for trekkers from where one can explore so many trekking destinations. We install camp at bank of sheera sar and explore another lake Kana sar (Sarbal) on next day.
The main aim of the Trekking to maitain health and to explore eco tourism. Moreover we advice youth to explore nature and stay away from drugs & other bad habits

Today on 16/07/2023 Baramulla Adventure Club has achieved one more milestone to sumit khemsar Yemsar Lake Gund Ganderbal. In his Trekking Expedition 26 members participated.
It was Challenging and thrilling as day Trekking Expedition, still our members did it with Great Ccourage despite of heavy raining throughout the day.

Congratulations all the participants for their tireless effort to make this Expedition sucessful and summit this alpine lake as Day trek.

Baramulla Adventure Club did one day Trekking Expedition from Shaladajan Novshehra to Chorkhudan on 19/03/2023. The Trek was supported by JK Forest Department JV Division Baramulla. In this Trekking Expedition 12 members have participated. We started the trek from Shaladajan at 8:00 am and reached Chorkhodan at 1: 15 pm. After having lunch in Gujjar Kotha at Chorkhodan. The team started decend at 2: 30 pm and concluded the trek successfully at 5:45 pm.
We are highly thankful to Conservator of Forests north Mr. Irfan Rasool wani (IFS), DFO Baramulla Mr. Parvaiz Ahmd Wani, Trek Coordinator Rayees Wakil and his team to facilitate us inorder carryout this trek.

It was great Adventurerous Trekking trail having distance almost 16 kms to and fro with elevation 1150 mtrs above sea level.

Baramulla Adventure Club BAC has organised one day Trekking Expedition fromladua to Viji Top on 30/10/2022 . In this Trekking Expedition 15 members took participation. The group was lead by Mr Rayees Ahmad Mir and Mr Akash Ahmad Najar. Wole group was coordinated by Mr Sajjad Ahmad Raja from Ladua ladoora. The team started trek at 8: 30 am reached viji top around 2:45 pm. It was tough terrian, still our warriors make it passoble and reached back to base camp at 8: 30 pm ...

Baramulla Adventure Club has organised one night Two days trekking expedition on 10th and 11th September 2022 to Kounsar nag lake which is 27 kms from arhrbal. The kounsar nag lake is located at an elevation of 3500 meters (11500 ft) above sea level in pir panjal mounain ranges in district Kulgam which is an out source of aharbal Water fall. Our team has started trek from Aharbal Gurwatan at around 8: 45 am and reached Mahinag via Kongwatan meadows. We reached Mahinag at around 4:00 pm which is 20 kms from Aharbal. We have installed Base Camp at Mahinag stayed overnight. Next morning on 11th sep at 7:00 am, we heading towards Kounsar nag lake which is 7 kms from Mahinag. We reached Kounsar nag lake at 9:30 am. The team Started decend at 11am and reached aharbal at 5:30 pm covering the distance 34 kms in single day. Hats off to our team members who have participated in this trekking expedition.. Alhamdullilah all participants reached at their destination safely...

Two days one night trekking programme to TULIAN LAKE

TULIAN LAKE is 16 kms from Pahalgam Annantnag and 11 kms from Baisaran. It is surrounded in three sides by snow covered mountain ranges of Pir panjaal and Zanaskaar.
Our team started trek to Tulain lake 9:00 am from Ganeshbal Pahalgam. We reached Tulain valley at around 2:45 pm and install base camp at Tulain Valley. Next day early in the morning aftet breakfast, we heading towards Tulain Lake at 8:00 am from base camp and reached the Lake 10:00 am. It was a proud movement for our team to explore this wonderful lake. The lake has an Altitude of 3680 meters above sea level. The lake is source glaciers of these snow covered mountain which surrounds the lake which then percolate into gushy water streams .
Our team started decend from Lake at 12:00 pm and reached base camp at 1: 40 pm. After having lunch at base camp finally we move towards Pahalgam and reached safely at 4:15 at Pahalgam....
