we started our birding tour of Vietnam today. our first photography session at Cat Tien National park went off very well .All the target birds on our list were ticked.

This years edition of the Bharatpur birding week concluded today and without a doubt it was a grand success. The event would not have been this big a success without the active participation of the students from RD college and MSJ college. Want to thank the principals, professors and students. Also would like to thank my colleagues whose support and dedication played a big part in getting this event organised. A big thanks to the staff and management of the Bagh who played host to the participants and not but the least a big round of thanks to the ZEISS optics India and forest department whose support made event possible . Looking forward to getting together again for the event next year . Till then keep safe keep birding # Zeiss optics # Keoladeo

also known as the pale weasel, Altai weasel or solongoi, primarily lives in high-altitude environments, as well as rocky tundra and grassy woodlands. This weasel rests in rock crevices, tree trunks, and abandoned burrows of other animals or the animals it previously hunted.

The National Chambal Sanctuary (400+ KM of protected waters) falls on the Chambal River which flows through the states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh before it merges in to the Yamuna. It was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1978. The focus of this channel would be short videos on wildlife travel and photography.

2nd of Feb is celebrated as world wetlands day. On this day in 1971 a treaty was signed in the Iranian city of Ramsar for the conservation of wetlands. There are 46 Ramsar sites in India named after the place where the treaty was signed. The most famous wetland park in India is the Keoladeo National park .Join me in a virtual celebration of this day .
