An expert lecture organized on Introduction to IOT for 1st sem EX/EE students

Today an industrial visit organized for 3rd sem Electrical engineering and Electrical & Electronics engineering branch students at Andritz Hydro Pvt. Ltd. In this visit our students has learned about manufacturing process of generators, excitation, automation, control, and protection systems.

Human Rights Day is the day to let the world know the importance of it. Because every human being deserves fundamental human rights hence knowing the importance of the day.

Today an Industrial visit organized for V sem, Electrical and Electronics engineering branch students at 765/400 KV substation, IndiGrid Bhopal.

In this visit our students understand how a substation works, how the control unit interacts with other substations all over the country, how a faulty condition in power lines is identified and rectified amongst the PAN India network.

The switchyard portion got students familiarized with the live working and installation of components like transformers, circuit breakers, lightening arrestors, bus bar system, earthing pit and much more.

Department of EX/EE LNCT bhopal, organised an industrial visit for 3rd year electrical engineering students to 765/400 KV substation of IndiGrid Pvt. Ltd. Bhopal. Students gained real life knowledge on how this company monitors and maintains different parts of the national transmission grid of India. Students were also taken to the switchyard of the substation and were given an excellent insight of the different equipments installed, their working and how the whole substation functions.

Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Electrical Engineering organised an Alumni Talk on the topic "Overview of Power Transmission system" for the students of EX and EE department. Expert for the session was *Mr. Prayas Gupta, Head Operations, 765 kV Sub-Station, IndiGrid Bhopal* who is alumni of Electrical & Electronics branch of 2008 batch. In this talk, students learn about the practical working of high power transmission throughout the nation.

Department of Electrical Engineering/ Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering has organised Expert lecture on the topic "Introduction to Switchgear and Protection system" today successfully. Expert of the lecture was Mr. Siddharth Vyas, Lead Project Quality Manager, GE Power System India Ltd, Bhopal.

Kalchuri Contractors Limited, an LNCT group company is developing an ecosystem to give a platform to the startups of Satna and near by places to showcase their entrepreneurial skills which help them understand certain important aspects related to business like investment, marketing strategies, sales, and profit.

Startup will soon have the opportunity to physically incubate in our superbly equipped incubation center, where all of their requirements will be met.

A moment of pride and exuberance as Mr Shivam Chaurivar,final year student of LNCT group,Electrical and Electronics branch and also the student ambassador of AICTE IDEA Lab LNCT Bhopal is felicitated by Honourable Chief Minister Mr Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Honourable minister of Technical Education Smt.Yashodhara Raje Scindia during the event Kaushalam held on 20 Sept. 2022. Shivam is the only student from Madhya Pradesh to represent India in the World Skills Competition to be held in Japan in October 2022.

Department of Electrical Engineering/ Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering conducted 2 days workshop on PCB designing using PCB wizard for third year students on 29-30 July 22 successfully.

An Expert Talk is conducted by EX/EE Department in association with Idea lab , LNCT Bhopal on 25/07/2022 over the Topic *Drone Fabrication and its Functionality*. This Talk was given by Devansh Tiwari a proud Alumini of LNCT Group, presently working as a Team Leader in Orange Business Services . In his session he has discussed about the usage of 3D Printing for Drone Designing, about Aerodynamics, Equipments used in Quadcopter Drone , Designing of Transmitter and Receiver sections and various Problem Statements so as to use a Single Drone for Multiple Applications like Arial Photography and Video making , Monitoring and Surveillance, in Agriculture and harvesting, in Forensic and Mining applications and many others.
