Last minute Tips for

Preparing for the JEE Advanced in the last week can be intense, but here are some tips to help you make the most of it:

1. Focus on revision: Review the key concepts, formulas, and problem-solving techniques that you've already covered. Identify your weak areas and spend extra time on them.

2. Practice previous years' papers: Solve as many JEE Advanced papers from previous years as possible. This will help you understand the exam pattern, time management, and gain confidence.

3. Mock tests: Take full-length mock tests to simulate the actual exam conditions. Analyze your performance, identify areas of improvement, and work on time management.

4. Clear doubts: If you have any doubts or concepts that you're unsure about, seek clarification from teachers, mentors, or online forums. Don't let doubts linger, as it can affect your confidence during the exam.

5. Stay calm and focused: It's normal to feel some stress, but try to stay calm and maintain a positive mindset. Take short breaks, practice relaxation techniques, and get sufficient rest to stay refreshed and focused.

6. Time management: Develop a study schedule for the last week that allows you to cover all the important topics while leaving some time for revision and practice.

7. Healthy lifestyle: Eat nutritious meals, stay hydrated, and get enough sleep. A healthy body supports a healthy mind and can improve your concentration and performance.

8. Avoid new topics: In the last week, it's generally not recommended to start studying new topics. Focus on strengthening your existing knowledge base instead.

Remember, your hard work and consistent efforts throughout your preparation will pay off. Stay confident, believe in yourself, and do your best.

Good luck for your JEE Advanced exam!

Last minute tips.

It's that time of year where every aspirant is nervous and looking for some advice and motivation to perform well in the coming exam.

Well here are my Two cents.

1 At this point do not study any new topic.

2 Donot attempt any mock tests in these last days.

3 Make a list of imp formulae and notes for topics that are weak and post them on ur wall that u can revise everytime.

4 Attempt random questions from random topics and see if u can solve them.If not just look at their solutions and read the short theory or concept behind it.

5 Do not attempt any question which is unsolved as the answer and solution might haunt you and get u stressed if ur not able to solve it.

6 Eat healthy and sleep on-time.

7 Set ur biological clock according to the exam day.Sleep at around 11pn and get up at 6 am as u would do on the D day.

8 Study only from ur notes and see the problems that u've already solved. This will give u confidence.

9 Remember is 70% an exam of ur speed and only 30% of deep understanding.

Lay emphasis of following topics for quick revision

Mathematics: Quadratic equations & expressions, complex numbers, probability, vectors & 3D geometry, circle, parabola, ellipse functions, limits, continuity and differentiability, application of derivatives, definite integral in calculus.

Physics: Units &, Dimensions, heat and thermodynamics, waves , capacitors & electrostatics, magnetics, electromagnetic induction, optics and modern physics.

Chemistry: Qualitative analysis, coordination chemistry & chemical bonding in inorganic chemistry, electrochemistry, thermodynamics, chemical equilibrium in physical chemistry and oxygen-related compounds & amines in organic chemistry.

Strategy for attempting various pattern of questions

Multiple choice questions with single choice correct answers:
Easiest of the lot ,attempt them carefully as they are the scoring ones

Multiple choice questions with multiple choice correct answers:
Toughest amongst all.Attempt very carefully.Only mark those options that ur sure about.

Comprehension based:
Read the passage carefully. The most scoring question amongst all

Matrix match type (one to one matching):
Be careful as this is a scoring segment.
Do not make silly mistakes.

Matrix match type (one to many matching):
The more difficult ones.Be extremely cautious as they can consume time.

Numerical based answer type:
Time consuming generally but if it's integer type it could be relatively easy as well.

In some cases answers can be asked upto 2 or 3 decimal places.Keep in mind the instructions given.

* Pls read the marking scheme carefully as there could be a surprise.

👉 Most imp thing.Remember JEE is just an exam. Ur life does depend on it.
No exam ever defines what ur going to achieve in ur life.

JEE is just an experience. Its not the end of ur life. Its just a beginning.

Enjoy the experience and give it your best!?

Why govt scrapped KVPY exam and merged the fellowship scheme with INSPIRE According to DST sources, the high operational cost of conducting the aptitude test forced the government to scrap it.
